I don't know what he said because he's on my iggy list. He was never rude or insulting, but I got sick of reading the same crap from him over and over and over again. It was like trying to have a conversation with a drunk at a bar. Never nothing new with the guy.

People don't make investments for the fear of losing them. Well........that's a chance you gotta take. They also don't make investments because you have to educate yourself on them first. That can take a lot of time.

I'm far from rich or successful, but I invested in real estate nearly 30 years ago. Now retired, it's paying off just like I planned. I haven't been on a vacation in all that time. I spent any free time working on this place. It's a sacrifice I decided to make. In the past, I also invested in the stock market and traded commodities contracts for a few years. Never made a net profit, but I learned a lot and had a great time. When I got sick of lower paying general labor jobs, I learned how to drive a tractor-trailer, and made an okay living that way. My health precluded me from making any big money though.

I always remembered what Dough Ditka once said: You never really lose until you quit trying. This is why we have people crying about not having enough. They never tried in the first place.
