Two Minneapolis police snipers fatally shot 20-year-old Andrew “Tekle” Sundberg after an hours-long standoff, according to CBS News. What prompted the officers to shoot remains unclear but the officers involved were part of the SWAT raid that led to Amir Locke’s killing in February.

According to CBS’ report, Tekle fired multiple shots inside a Seward neighborhood apartment building. Arabella Yarbrough, a neighbor, called the police saying a bullet went through her wall. She and her two young boys hid in the bedroom. Once police arrived, Yarbrough and her sons left the building and Tekle isolated himself inside his unit. The standoff with the police began at 9:30 p.m.

Officers say they spent hours trying to negotiate with him but according to a live taping of the incident, they didn’t successfully make contact with him, per Fox 9.

Maybe the white guy finally gave up before they shot him. He got lucky. Maybe in Kentucky they didnt have a SWAT team sniper available? I hope Kentucky has a death penalty so they can just put the animal down. He deserves it , and it would be justice.

Yes he did get sniped. And its too bad. I honestly dont know all the details here... but what do we know about what the Minneapolis cops knew? did they get a cell call from the woman who was fearing for her kids lives? did the police think the shooter was still a threat to the woman and her kids?

If that is the case then its a game changer. In Kentucky, yes the shooter gunned down three cops, but then again, police are not supposed to kill someone out of revenge. ( though in the below article you see
so many cops per year are arrested for murder..and convicted)

In both cases, I really dont know, I wasn't there.. I have to admit though, I'm looking for reasons in why the two cases were different besides racism.
