Mail in voting was not widespread in this country until COVID and the 2020 election. I have never had amil-in voting in any state that I have lived in, and at present that list includes 6 states. You are simply wrong or lying about the truth. Look up which states had mail-in voting in say 2016. You can count them on one hand. As of that date back then combines absentee ballots and mail-in ballots.

Same place ours are. I was an American citizen born abroad and lost my birth certificate packet about 40 years ago. I wrote the Reagan state department and had a birth certificate in short order. It is my experience that birth records are on file at county clerks offices of the county where the birth occurred as well.
