Same place ours are. I was an American citizen born abroad and lost my birth certificate packet about 40 years ago. I wrote the Reagan state department and had a birth certificate in short order. It is my experience that birth records are on file at county clerks offices of the county where the birth occurred as well.

We ordered my BC from the state of KY, and she picked hers at her county health department in AL, along with our marriage certificate. We had to have them for our Real ID and when we applied for our passports. BTW, we live in another state now in TN. Incredibly easy to do. Liberals like you are the ones too lazy!
