Trump's tariffs leading to welfare farming

So you don't know who actually writes the check for the tariffs. Where the tariff funds actually come from when they enter the US. All that money that Trump and his MAGA flock are crowing about.

No surprise.

Nothing demonstrates the Dunning-Kruger Effect more accurately than Trumpsters trying to discuss macroeconomics.

And you call OTHERS "dumbass". Too funny.
Dude, you claimed American companies would pay 30% in tariffs after he hit one with 15%.

Pretty sure you had to Google “macroeconomics” to know how to spell it.

And you call others “dumbass”.

Trump's tariffs leading to welfare farming

Well that must make Libs happy as shit…right?
Don’t they love welfare and welfare recipients?
Do you have anything that's actually useful to contribute?

Farmers will be fine.
If democrats get in and keep borrowing and spending, the dollar will collapse, tariffs will prevent that.
We owe $37T and pay $1.1T a year just in interest.
Biden had a $1.85T budget deficit, Trump is close to a surplus, with tariffs and BBB budget cuts.
According to farmers themselves no, they will not be fine.

I buy US made sneakers, New Balance. Just saying.
Tariffs on foreign sneakers has to help US manufacturers sell more. Thank you president Trump.
The US buys about $10b of sneakers annually. Not in the same category as cars.
New Balance is one of the only if not the only name brand athletic shoe manufacturers left in the USA and manufacture here in Maine and one other factory, I think in New Hampshire.

They Manufacture 4 million in the USA out of 16 million pairs manufactured in total, globally a year. It is owned by one family....well...95% owned by the family.

P.S. the soles are imported....tariffs will affect them too....even though manufactured in the USA....leather is from USA Tanneries.

I don't know where you get your information, but you need to find more accurate resources.
Democrats are at 19% and Trump is at 54%, knowing that these numbers fluctuate.
I can guarantee you that Trump did not lose any rural voters.
Can you guarantee me that democrats did not lose any urban or union voters?
Denial runs deep in you doesn't it?

Tariffs are bring in about $500b a year. Period. Full stop.

Crop Prices are returning to historic norms, we want lower grocery prices don't we?

Ain't it amazing what a war on fossil fuels does to agriculture!

There is no BIG SPENDER president, bigger than Trump and Republicans.

If you asked those NB workers if they liked Trump's tariffs what do you think they would say?

Here is Biden's 2024 budget. $6.752T

Cuts $1.2b off Bidens last budget.

So Biden and the democrats were the very big spenders.

You left out the part that it's US Consumer paying the $500B a year in new taxes. Tarrifs are a tax paid by importers on goods they purchase overseas and have shipped here. They pay the tarrif to have the materials released from the ports. Those increased cost are then passed to the consumer.

Against this one would then have to contrasted with the long term decrease in income tax revenue due to (a) the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (projected to decrease revenue by $4.5 Trillion (yes Trillion) over 10 years, (b) recently we've also seen the Senior Tax cut which will also decrease income tax revenue, (c) then of course there are projections on the decrease in economic activity and the impact on jobs with the tarrif wars.

So no, you can't look at one thing and claim success and call it "Period. Full stop.".

The only time Politico and CNN seem to care about farmers is during a republican administration. Trump takes care of farmers with subsidies and the left calls it welfare while they are careful not to use that term for any other segment of society. Biden blamed Covid for the problems farmers faced while the price of diesel fuel, needed to run farm implements, rose out of sight due to the new green order. The price of diesel has stabilized and is dropping but Trump gets no credit. Lefties and their minions in the media are in a panic to get their licks at Trump's tariffs before they show positive results. .

Says the guy typing on a machine likely manufactured overseas and containing parts manufactured overseas.

Hell, even American made cars use foreign parts.

And as with all technology, the price is substantially lower than what I payed for a much more inferior machine over the years. Relevance? Seems your claim of higher prices failed on that one--along with your strawman re: American manufactured cars.

John Deere is getting hammered.
Most of their compact and subcompact tractor engines are made by Yanmar--a Japanese company. I use a Branson tractor---made by S. Koreans, but the engine is a Cummins diesel. I wouldn't buy a JD on a bet after owning one in the past.
