If the FBI had been out to 'get Trump' they could have ended his campaign with a single press release.

But they didn't.

If the FBI had truthfully announced that the Trump campaign was being investigated for collusion with Russia- 2 weeks before the election- Trump would have lost.

But the FBI did not do that. Instead the FBI announced that they were looking more into Clinton.

Perhaps what EVERYONE here is forgetting is that this is clearly activity to suss out if Russia was weaseling its way into the Trump campaign. It was part of the FBI investigation into Russian meddling.

What Trump has done and what even the folks on the left are forgetting is the critical part:

So what if the FBI had a professor asking some questions about the Russia investigation? It was a criminal investigation. What Trump is alleging is that Obama embedded a spy into his campaign to get some kind of advantage over his campaign.
