But at least Trump isn't going to confiscate 160 million peoples plans just so they can give coverage to illegal aliens. I don't want any part of an overpriced Obamacare imitation. Viva Trump, MAGA

Some people are not as fortunate as you and need some form of healthcare.
While that's true, it's perfectly constitutional at the state level and should be relegated to the states. The feds have no constitutional authority to be involved with it. It hasn't stopped them, of course, but they still don't have just powers to be involved in healthcare.

Keep it at the state level where it belongs and there won't be a problem.
Feds have VA, Medicare and Medicaid
All Constitutional Healthcare.

Obamacare is run by the States
In that case, let the states handle the problem.....

Most people kept their existing plans
Trump has offered nothing to replace Obamacare if he succeeds in getting it cancelled

He had better get his act together

After promising something better and cheaper than Obamacare, Trump finally revealed what he considers a “plan”
It is not a plan at all, but a series of empty promises that are not funded or backed by legislation.

Trump’s announcements Thursday failed to match his pledge of a “full and complete” health care plan. They also failed to make good on senior officials’ claims, made on the press call just ahead of Trump’s speech Thursday, that the President would present an “historic” proposal.

Unfortunately, if it wasn't for John McCain, Trumpcare would be in force now already. Trump's initial plan was to provide tremendous healthcare to the people with unlimited choice, and at savings you'd have to see to believe.

The government should not be in the business of health care.

They have no need to mandate any kind of health care regulation or welfare.

I'll pay my health care bills and you pays yours. That is liberty.

“Donald Trump's Much-Hyped Health Care Plan Isn't Much of a Plan at All”

Trump isn’t much of a president at all, and is much-hyped as well.

Yet another Trump failure, yet another compelling reason to vote Trump out of office this November.
Interesting how SCOTUS will not make an Obamacare ruling until AFTER the election.

Don’t want to upset the voters

Typical Trump – create a disaster and screw everyone over then cut and run.

Reminder: If Biden or the DNC really cared about beating Trump they'd offer Medicare For All in a heartbeat.

So you think the states (which are covering the programs) don't have a say????

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

That's why Congress needs to actually pass a law addressing this....

Which, of course, they refuse to do.....
They already have
It is called Obamacare
And there is a good chance the SCOTUS will shoot down critical provisions of Obozocare as being unconstitutional....

Looks like Pelosi needs to get to work on an acceptable alternative!!!!!
Good one

Trump is trying to cancel Obamacare in the middle of a pandemic.

If Biden wins and Dems take Congress, look for Obamacare on Steroids. First step towards Single Payer.
You really have to love the stupid. Simple math is next to impossible for them. Even if we Double taxes we still can not afford single payer. So that means that we would have to do away with all forms of welfare and double taxes just to give all tax payers single payer. What do we do with those that can’t afford paying double taxes? What do we do with single moms? I guess we just kick those people to the curb all in the name of single payer.

The government is involved with healthcare with programs. Look at the costs of services! We may eventually go to single payer, but keeping costs under control is going to be impossible. Plus there are people who do not go to Doctors. They may go when single payer is started. We may have to cut other programs in the federal budget as the costs rise for healthcare or cut back on medical services for individuals.

Money can be diverted from what employers and workers currently contribute to health insurance.

Overall, it will be much less expensive. It is in other countries

So you're advocating that people lose their current health insurance, and just get what medical care the government allows???

Personally, I advocate Single Payer
Other countries have it and their people are healthier, live longer and do not risk bankruptcy from getting sick.

No country with single payer wants to go to a system like we have.

Healthcare is a basic human right
