Trump's 'Heads I Win, Tails you Lose' World

no, the bullshit was wrong.......he beat cankles if you will remember. But you keep living in your land of ignorance and bullshit.

He got lucky with her. He manage to squeeze out about 10,000 votes in a handful of key states that gave him the EC. Hillary was just as despised as Donald. He didn't get that lucky in 2020 and he won't in 2024. Enjoy President Newsom.

WE ALL GOT LUCKY with him!!!!

Don't blame me, it's someone else's fault!

Cascading midterm losses rippled from east to west — Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Washington. Recriminations from fellow Republicans poured in. A rival’s star continued to rise in Florida.

Yet when Donald J. Trump stepped onto the flag-bedecked stage at his gilded Palm Beach palace on Tuesday evening to declare that he would run for president again, it was as if none of it had happened.

The former president cannot stop trying to make his own reality and cannot start accepting responsibility for his actions or acknowledging their consequences. In the heads-I-win-tails-you-lose world of Mr. Trump, all successes accrue to him, and any failings are someone else’s fault — the 2018 midterms, when Democrats took back the House; his own presidential loss in 2020; and now 2022, the worst showing of a party out of power in two decades.

In that sense, with the smoke still rising on a national rebuke, the choreographed conviviality on Tuesday night was the ultimate in not taking responsibility.

Instead, Mr. Trump spun out an alternate vision where the news media has not reported all his successes and where much of the blame for the party’s shortcomings in the midterms “is correct,” though none of that blame belongs to him. And while the country, he told supporters, has slid from greatness to abject embarrassment in two short years, its citizens “have not yet realized the full extent and gravity of the pain our nation is going through” — a suggestion that voters would have punished the party in power if they had only shared his understanding of President Biden’s depravity.

He showed, in other words, that the word “loser” remains his ultimate epithet.

“If he thinks he can win in 2024, he is going to run in 2024, and I doubt there is anyone who can change his mind on that,” said Mick Mulvaney, an acting chief of staff in Mr. Trump’s White House. “The question is whether, in light of 2018, 2020 and last week, is he — himself, and no one else — starting to recognize that if the presidential election were held today, he would probably lose.”

100% garbage OP.

if he gets the nomination again they will absolutely commit suicide over it. or go out and murder some of his supporters. one way or another there will be blood!
WRONG!

I WISH he could get the nomination!
Seriously.
I can't think of a better way to guarantee 4 more years of Biden/Harris (or whoever else runs) than to have the names Trump/Lake at the top of the GOP ticket.

ALL of the Republican voters that rejected his freakish endorsed candidates last week will also reject him in 2024. They will just stay home out of protest ....or they will vote "D" out of the same fear that caused them to trounce his candidates in this midterm.

All the credible forensic examination of what went wrong for Trump-endorsed candidates (like Kari-the-con Lake) last week is pointing to one thing.
Trump and his "stolen election," authoritarian, whiny victim, vendetta filled rhetoric turns off the moderate Republican voters.
At least HALF of all registered Republicans!
They're not having it anymore.
They spoke that loudly and clearly last week.

So, if Trump is on the ticket in 2024 count on losing about half the republican base.
Especially after the war that is about to begin between Trump and whatever moderate Republicans begin to emerge in the primary field.
He will be coming up with new ways to shock, outrage, and offend the moderate Republican base on a daily basis soon with his juvenile insults of THEIR favorite candidates.
It is what he does.

Without that base the 2024 election will be a virtual SLAUGHTER for Democrats.
It won't even be close!

Now let's look at it from the other angle.

Let's imagine that Trump actually somehow does make it all the way to the primaries even without all the support he needs to get there.
The Christian Right is pulling its support and distancing itself from him.
As is all Rupert Murdoch owned media.
Congressional Republicans and the RNC war machine.
Nearly every other PAC and/or support system....
all gone.
He's literally out in the wind....left trying to do it on his own.
With some VERY powerful forces working against him.
Now for two more years.

He's gonna rage, and he's gonna whine, lie, cheat, beg, steal.....
but mostly he's going to make mistakes.
And they are going to rip him apart limb by limb because of then.

And then by 2024 well....there's just not going to be much left of what ONCE was ole D.J. Trump.
He'll (and his "movement") will be history. A footnote at best.

But by then his 60-70 million MAGAts will be so pissed off at having to watch the slow, simmering destruction and complete dismantling of their giant orange cat-turd king that then it will be THEY who refuse to vote for the ("Deep State") GOP's pick in 2024.
It'll be the OTHER half of the base sitting it out.

So....yeah.
It would be a mistake to assume that we "lefties" are "quaking in our boots" about Captain Orange Chaos announcing another run.

We LOVE it!

It's like Christmas came early this year....and Trump appears to be the gift that just KEEPS ON GIVING!

Only 1/3rd of Republicans still support Trump.
