This is the same warning issued to every other criminal defendant at the start of their trial in any courtroom anywhere in the state of New York.
You should be GLAD that Trump isn't receiving any preferential treatment that would be denied to any other criminal defendant in his position. It demonstrates that justice is indeed blind and that we do not live in some bannana republic with a two-tiered justice system where people like Trump get preferential treatment from the courts.
