LOL he got what he wanted, and you try to claim he stood down. In both cases he got exactly what he asked for more security at the border.
There is no telling, whether Trump is serious about tarriffs and tarriff wars or if it is just his method of trolling and bargaining in bad faith.
LOL Trump demanded more security on the border and more effort to fight the illegal drug smuggling and in both cases got EXACTLY that. So much for backing down you moron.
He said from the beginning it was about border security. If you bothered paying attention to what he actually says and demands, rather than getting all your information from leftwing fake news sources that will just scream nonsense like he is “starting a trade war”.
He got what he asked for from both Countries and will maintain the threat to ensure they don't weasel out of the agreements.
He is serious but he is receiving too much push back from within the U.S. He wants to generate revenue and provide a more even scenario and he is wise to want to do it as early as possible to try and keep them in place the duration of his term.
I do not have to pay attention to tarriff bullshit, until in has significant impact on (a) cost of living, or (b) investment accounts by way of stock market reaction. As for the borders, I still like 3 ft chainlink fence with keep out signs and a 50 meter mine field with drone overwatch. But, I am a humanitarian, so I also favor immediate first aide medical treatment for survivors, prior to shipping their ass back across the border.
