Both countries stared down Trump for at least 30 days. With all of the large support Trump had for this from the posters I saw online, this was his time to strike and keep tariffs on for 6 months to a year to get all he wanted.

I don't think he is going to get what he wants now, time will tell.

And is anyone surprised at this? Shouldn't be. This is Trump's tactic. He wants something, so he acts like a total c*** and then says "if you don't like that, then give me something".

It's what bullies do. The problem is that bullies end up angering people, and if you're bullying your closest friends, it's not going to end very well.

The problem is Trump only understand money. He doesn't understand anything else. So, he thinks a win is if he gets richer. The problem is, if the US loses its allies, it becomes less powerful, and less rich. But Trump can't see the bigger picture.
