Ford isn't too bright. A $100M contact (not sure if it;s Canadian or U.S currency) is, what? Maybe $30M profit for Musks company.

The guy is worth hundreds of billions of dollars.

The response to Trump is to hit with tariffs and hope he doesn't escalate. Ford in his wisdom, decides to be a fake tough guy and put a target on Ontario. Brilliant move.

If Trump said, "10% for all of Canada EXCEPT Ontario who must pay 25%", Ford would look like the fool he has been for a decade as we rapidly reach insolvency and more than half of all of Canadas debt.

Doug Ford says the Ontario government is "ripping up" its $100-million contract with Elon Musk’s Starlink to provide high-speed internet to northern and rural communities.

Ford, who plunged the province into an early election last week, said in a social media post Monday that effective immediately, the Progressive Conservative government is banning American companies from provincial contracts.

The move follows U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to enact a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian imports beginning Tuesday; Ottawa and the provinces are retaliating, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau imposing immediate tariffs on $30 billion worth of goods, followed by further tariffs on $125 billion worth of American products in 21 days.

"Every year, the Ontario government and its agencies spend $30 billion on procurement, alongside our $200 billion plan to build Ontario. U.S.-based businesses will now lose out on tens of billions of dollars in new revenues. They only have President Trump to blame," Ford said in his post.

"We’re going one step further. We’ll be ripping up the province’s contract with Starlink. Ontario won’t do business with people hellbent on destroying our economy."

Not having internet isn’t great for their economy

The Canadians have gone full retard over the tariffs.

Canada needs Starlink more than Starlink needs Canada.

And, supposedly, the liquor stores are removing US whiskey from the shelves. Those morons know they already paid for that inventory. Right?...lol

No more Canadian whiskey or hockey sticks? My guess is that Justin will blink.

They are also discussing larger tariffs on automobiles and parts.

This is just starting.

Obviously canada didn't read about CANCELLATION FEES in the fine print :auiqs.jpg:

Now that any existing contract agreements have been broken, when they want the service back I would advise Starlink to double the price.

Canadians will be furious over losing Starlink. May even cause them to vote out the limp dicks they’ve been voting in.

I think Trump is going to blink this round, especially after his interaction with Mexico.

Mexico already threw in the towel and are sending more troops to the border, which is all President Trump asked for.

Canada will do the same. Canada has no leverage on the US.
