Sending applications is miles different than sending ballots because you still have to apply to get the ballot.
The lawsuit in Texas wasn’t about sending ballots, it was whether the “illness or disability” restriction to vote absentee applied to people not wanting to get COVID. The court’s reply was “not exactly by maybe, we will let you decide” oh and if you decide wrong you may go to jail.

So what's to stop people who just moved into a house from completing applications for the former resident?

Didn’t the former tenants change their registration? They still need signature matches. Doesn’t seem like a crime the average Joe is going to commit just because they get someone else’s application. That’s a lot of jail time for very little benefit.

Do you really think clerks processing 10s of thousands of requests will be checking signatures that close? And folks are prosecuted virtually every election, mailing ballot applications to everyone, just presents the opportunity, some won't pass it up. The question is, how many will get away with it long enough for the fraudulent vote to be counted?

The lawsuit in Texas wasn’t about sending ballots, it was whether the “illness or disability” restriction to vote absentee applied to people not wanting to get COVID. The court’s reply was “not exactly by maybe, we will let you decide” oh and if you decide wrong you may go to jail.

So what's to stop people who just moved into a house from completing applications for the former resident?

1. Either Trump fears that the "no excuse" states will have tons of manufactured requests from illegitimate voter fraud mills? People just going thru the phone book or obits looking for votes to steal? Will blue states be super strict when sending out ballots, or do pets and illegals get to vote too?

Sending applications is miles different than sending ballots because you still have to apply to get the ballot.
The lawsuit in Texas wasn’t about sending ballots, it was whether the “illness or disability” restriction to vote absentee applied to people not wanting to get COVID. The court’s reply was “not exactly by maybe, we will let you decide” oh and if you decide wrong you may go to jail.

So long as voters have to actually request ballots be sent to a verifiable address, and thballot is signed ..... it can be audited just taxes. Cull the dead from the rolls, no problem..

Mail in ballots require requests in most states, which is contrary to what he claimed, otherwise known as a lie. Why would he all of a sudden have a problem with the remaining 5 states who have been doing mail voting for years?

The fact is, many States are scrapping the request requirement using Covid as an excuse. If you can safely stand in line at the grocery store, you can stand in line at the polls.

So what's to stop people who just moved into a house from completing applications for the former resident?

Didn’t the former tenants change their registration? They still need signature matches. Doesn’t seem like a crime the average Joe is going to commit just because they get someone else’s application. That’s a lot of jail time for very little benefit.

Do you really think clerks processing 10s of thousands of requests will be checking signatures that close? And folks are prosecuted virtually every election, mailing ballot applications to everyone, just presents the opportunity, some won't pass it up. The question is, how many will get away with it long enough for the fraudulent vote to be counted?

Fact is neither of us really know the precise process. A place like Texas has limited absentee so it’ll be totally different than a place like Florida. I searched, but found no definitive information.

I do know some States are still trying to make changes 3 months from the election ala CA. Like I said earlier, LA county has 112% of eligible voters registered. And they made ballot harvesting legal. What could possibly go wrong at all levels, but specifically at the congressional level.

From what I’ve read, California is only sending ballots to active voters. Not all registered voters are getting ballots.
