Yeah, they sign an affidavit, pinky swearing thst they are citizens. Sure, they could be charged with a felony if caught, but there are not any investigations. We don't have the resources for that. Again, that’s not true. Their information is checked by the county to verify their citizenship before being put onto the voter rolls.

Wrong. Most states do not automatically check citizenship databases for every(or any) voter registration including those from the DMV. In most cases, it is self attestation. If there is a flag of some sort, they may attempt verification, otherwise no. Blue states have no interest in doing so.
