If you chose by "mail in vote" you are correct. The hypocrisy writes itself. How do you take anything this clown says seriously? Mail in voting is safe, convenient, and secure. California transitioned to a permanent all-mail ballot system in 2022, when it began automatically mailing ballots to all active registered voters for every election. This followed a temporary expansion during the 2020 election due to the pandemic, when every registered voter received a ballot by mail for the first time. The shift became permanent after Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation in 2021, making California the eighth state to adopt universal mail-in voting. While voters can still choose to vote in person, all registered voters now receive a ballot by mail by default.

The SCOTUS case only deals with whether mail-in ballots should be counted if they come in after Election Day.

Personally, I can go either way on this. If the ballot does not come in by the closing time of the polls it probably should not be counted; however, in many areas of the law the date of postmark is the effective date of the contract.

Mail-in ballots have been with us since the Civil War and the idiocy of MAGA cultists to want to end them will go into the trash heap of history.

Why do you lie? Trump votes absentee, usually because he is campaigning on election day. just like I did when I was in the military. I now vote early, and if I were a Democrat I would vote often. I even think early voting should be restricted to a few days before elections. Too much can happen a month before the election like some states have.

Thats fair. I used mail in when I was working in another city a couple of times.

Personally I don't like the concept of everyone gets a ballot mailed to them regardless of request. However, I am fine with being able to request a ballot if I am already registered, provided there are safeguards in place.
