Michael Flynn was never a threat to our Liberty.
Flynn represented a unique threat to our national security. Not only was he talking with the russians, but he was doing so secretly. A fact that the russians knew, but the american people didn't. Which means Flynn was subject to blackmail by the Russians. And as national security advisor, he was privy to the nations highest secrets, while being subject to blackmail by our enemies.

That's a formula for disaster. Which is why the Flynn case was of such importance.
Yes and the traitor Trump fired him and then gave him a pardon??
He doesn't belong in jail.
A MF traitor doesn't belong in jail?? Why?? Because he's a repub?
Go ahead. No one is stopping you.

Then Trump should have given him a commutation. Which like with Roger Stone would allow Flynn to exonerate himself.

The president’s clemency power allows him to commute any federal sentence as well as to grant pardons. Because Trump is not fully pardoning Stone, he can proceed with an appeal of his conviction that could allow him to clear his name

Trump pardoned Flynn, because Trump thought Flynn was guilty as charged, and could not prevail to overturn his conviction/.

For a time, it seemed that the dismissal would finally happen. A divided panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia initially issued a writ of mandamus, directing Vile Hater Sullivan to dismiss the case.

But that directive was withdrawn by the full court (heavily dominated by Democrat appointees), which declined to find that Vile Hater Sullivan had acted inappropriately. The appellate court returned the case to Vile Hater Sullivan, with the expectation that he would move expeditiously and follow the law.

Alas, Vile Hater Sullivan had no intention of acting expeditiously or following the law. He clearly did not want to dismiss the case, and realized that no one would force him to do it on a short timeline. If he waited long enough, and Trump lost the election, Vile Hater Sullivan calculated that Trump would have to pardon Flynn or risk having a Illegitimate Biden Justice Department withdraw the dismissal motion. This would deny Flynn the exoneration on the official court record that he hoped to get from the "Justice" Department, which had brought the case against him.

It was not Vile Hater Sullivan’s place to do that, no matter how personally convinced he may be about Flynn’s guilt or the wrongness of the Justice Department’s dismissal decision. But the procedural rule, coupled with the solicitude of the appellate court, gave Vile Hater Sullivan the whip hand. He used it in a most unseemly manner.

If Flynn could exonerate himself, Trump would have given him a commutation like he did for Roger Stone. That would allow Flynn to appeal his case, and fully exonerate himself.

With the pardon, Trump (as per the USSC opinion) put the presumption of guilt on Flynn by issuing a pardon.

Fake news. American Hero Flynn was never charged with any of that.
Flynn did a plea bargain, in return for his cooperation he wouldn't be charged with more than a single count of 18 USC 1001.
Yes, bled of resources by Dirty Bob and the Witch Hunters, forced to sell his home and facing the same hell being visited on his son, our Hero Lt General Flynn pled as a first offender who
(a) should not have been investigated,
(b) had pleaded guilty to a dubious process crime, and
(c) was a decorated combat commander with a distinguished 30-year history of service to the United States, it should have been an easy sentence, involving no jail time.

But the sentencing did not happen, because Vile Hater Sullivan became unhinged. At an outrageous hearing, the judge loudly accused our Hero Flynn of a a CAPITAL CRIME, claiming Flynn had committed treason because the Vile Hater Sullivan has carelessly read the timeline and lept to the erroneous conclusion that as Defense Secretary, that our Hero Flynn was lobbying for our NATO ally, Turkey. Vile Hater Sullivan later much ore quietly apologized for that slander violating the rule among well-bred gentlemen of integrity that the apology should be voiced more loudly than the slander. He also implied that if Flynn did not provide additional cooperation to the Mueller prosecutors (with whom Flynn had been cooperating), a prison sentence could be in the offing.

With his retreat blocked by the vile hater Sullivan, our Hero Flynn's flagging fighting spirit was revived and he wholeheartedly threw himself into the legal fight to clear his good name.

Judges are supposed to be impartial arbiters whose main function in a criminal case is to protect the rights of defendants from government overreach and intimidation.

The pardon, nonetheless, expunges the case against Flynn. As a matter of law, it is as if the charges were never brought, as they should never have been.

As our Great President has declared: “General Flynn should not require a pardon. He is an innocent man.”

Flynn “is yet another reminder of something that has long been clear: After the 2016 election, individuals within the outgoing administration refused to accept the choice the American people made at the ballot box and worked to undermine the peaceful transition of power. These efforts were enabled by a complicit media that willingly published falsehoods and hid inconvenient facts from public view, including with respect to General Flynn.”

Thus ends an unsavory chapter.

Trump pardoned Flynn becuase he was going to be railroaded. Everyone knows that Flynn is not guilty of annything
Then why did Trump preclude Flynn from proving it in court?

Flynn could appeal his conviction to the new conservative supreme court. But instead Flynn has to live with a presumption of guilt.

Fake News. Flynn was never found guilty by a trier of fact and the DOJ has admitted that they not only never had sufficient evidence to convict him of a crime, that they never had enough evidence to even investigate him, much less ambush interview him at the suggestion of illegitimate Joe during the transition.

What you miss is that what the agents thought (opinion) carries zero legal weight. their opinion of Flynn not lying carries as much weight as their thinking that Flynn lied. No legal weight at all.

Instead the facts are what determine guilty or innocence, and the facts shows that Flynn lied.

At this point in the saga, Trump, and American, had no knowledge of the depth of corruption in the the CIA, DOJ and FBI. Now everyone knows that they are saturated with outlaw lying scum.
Amen Brother. Amen. And most all of them are too evil and corrupt even to admit it. Despicable. That is unpardonable of Democrats.

Flynn plead guilty, not once, but twice. He allocuted to his guilty to a federal judge, who by beyond reasonable doubt, based on the evidence Flynn presented to the court, accepted Flynns plea and rendered his guilty judgement.

Flynn made those same arguments. He knew they had the goods on him, and he plead guilty to a single felony count in exchange for his cooperation, to save his ass from the host of other felonies he could be charged with.

Remember, most pardons are issued long after any question of guilt or innocence is a forgone conclusion. Usually the person has exhausted all their appeals. They serve out their sentence in prison, and years after having done their time, ask for a pardon to restore their civil rights.

Pardoning people in the middle of their legal battles is the exception to the rule, and not done through the DOJ, who is the official route pardons originate through.
