Trump "NOT HAPPY" About China Trade Deal

Ya pretty simple...since a little bit of research would show you that is wrong.

Flight records show China did block international commercial flights out of Wuhan after Jan. 23, according to Flightradar24, a global flight tracking service.

AMERICANS RETURNING HOME....do you ever get anything right?

What specific American flights left Wuhan after Jan 23?

From my source:

While data Ferguson provided from global flight tracker FlightStats “seem[ed] to show that thirty-one flights left from Wuhan to cities in the US and Europe on or after Jan 23,” when Bell checked those against data from a website for the Civil Aviation Administration of China, he found that most of those flights were cancelled. And a handful of others originating in Guangzhou that “in normal times would do a stopover in Wuhan on the way” to San Francisco instead flew “direct from Guangzhou, bypassing Wuhan.”

“The records show that flights out of Wuhan to the rest of the world stopped around mid-day on the 23rd,, the same day China stopped flights from Wuhan to the rest of China,” Bell wrote.

It would seem that even before the 1/23 quarantine - it was hard to leave but a few did.
Just before the roadblocks went up and public transit came to a halt on Jan. 23, a handful of people were able to leave the Chinese city of Wuhan as the new coronavirus was starting to spread more rapidly. One who got out before the quarantine went into effect was an American, Christopher Suzanne.

So what flights left Wuhan during the quarantine?

I don't know if the flights came from Wuhan but there are 11 exemptions in the ban trump imposed. Which isn't a ban and it allowed 40 thousand people to come here from China.

On top of that, he imposed it AFTER the virus was in America. So it was already useless.

On top of that, no one banned flights from Europe especially Italy. Like the so called ban from China, trump banned flights from Italy AFTER the virus came here from Italy.

The virus people have on the east coast came from Italy. The virus people have on the west coast came from China. No one tested anyone returning to America from Europe or China. Which allowed the virus to run rampant throughout the nation.

All of that could have been prevented if we had proper leadership.

All of what we've endured because of the virus could have been prevented if trump had not fired the whole pandemic team and nearly destroyed the US CDC in China. There was around 50 people in our CDC in China, he fired all but 14. We would have had the proper testing if trump had not refused the test from The WHO. We would have had the proper amount of PPE and equipment necessary for the virus if trump had not let the contract with the company the maintained that the stockpile expire and not do much to get it renewed.

trump has blundered this from the very beginning. I can't think of one decision he has made that was the right decision for our nation through all of this.

China fears tariffs.
If we hit them with significant increased tariffs, China will respond with cyberwarfare attacks against us, the likes of which we've never seen before!

So you prefer capitulation?

Hit them hard and hit them often. You win or China wins, that's the binary choice. To hell with the importers who do nothing but spend on communist labour and flip it for easy profits. That's not creative, nor sustainable.

Thing is we need their markets as much as they need ours. Where are you going to send our produce?

Somewhat true but China has been an easy market for our farmers...nobody else. They might have to get off their asses and start SELLING to the rest of the world. We can surely move our manufacturing base back home but they'll still have to deal with the unions and prices will go up...maybe way up. Or we could subsidize our industries like the rest of the world does do keep prices down. Its the 21st century and we have to wake up to the realities that present themselves.

I would say no, it hasn't been an easy market - it isn't an easy market for anyone. One of the chief complaints of farmers were that the tariffs damaged a market they had spend years developing.
Over 30 years of getting the soy beans selling in China and then BOOM. Trump destroyed that relationship in less than a 10th of that time. Such a deal maker that Trump.

I mentioned nothing about capitulation. I didn't even infer it!
You should know better.....

No, we prefer a sane and sensible approach to negotiations, not a scorched earch tit for tat tariff war which has lead to the greatest number of US farm bankruptcies in history, a huge drop in US farm exports, and higher prices on clothing and other essentials for American consumers.

But it's all kind of moot at this point. The rest of the world is re-opening and the USA will continue to be a plague ravaged nation. I'm thinking of parallels to Escape from New York. Your entire country will be cut off from business, commerce, travel and trade with the rest of the world, until you get control of the virus. No travel to the rest of the world. No tourism from the rest of the world.

America First really has become America alone. You don't seem to be doing too well without the rest of us.

Yeah, so instead of tit for tat, it's been "let China steal abuse and pillage our nation and global security without any consequences"

There is a time for Chamberlain and a time for Churchill. We definitely need more Churchills in the West when facing this an abusive communist government that plans to rule the word, and us. The only message they understand is a strong one.
