I’ve commented before on our hoochie postmistress DEI that took over two years ago. Every week out of the 6 days we don’t get a delivery one day. Probably 1/3rd of the time two days no delivery and have had up to 4 with 3 very infrequent but occurs.
So no delivery this week since Monday so I went to see her again and took my letters, Got the standard excuses vacation, illness, Valentines rush, and it snowed 4” two days ago. But the coup de eta was they had No stamps. Been out since yesterday, may get tomorrow.

The USPS sucks right now, BAD. My sister mailed 2 boxes in the beginning of December, our xmas gifts. She lives in GA, we in LA, that is Louisiana. A month later we only got one. She tracked one of the boxes to Colorado. Then no movement for another month, then we got the other one. Sent first week of December, 650 miles to my parents house, first box took a month and received one of the boxes 2 months later.

When I bought my motorcycle in 2022, the dealership mailed me my plate and registration paperwork. Didn't get it for 6 months. They are 85 miles from my house.

We bought decals for a boat my dad and I are restoring. Took 3 and a half weeks to show up. Had already filed a claim with Ebay about not receiving the item. A day before the claim would have been settled in my favor, the decals finally show up.

Almost anything done by snail mail can be done easier and faster online.

With that said, i get a lot of packages and will say I prefer them shipped via USPS vs fedex or UPS. The post office does it better.

That sounds about right. My mother's "2-3 day" package going ~200 miles took more than a week to arrive. Paperwork sent from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Boston vanished without a trace. A package sent from southern Indiana to New Mexico has gone, as of the last update, to Indianapolis, then Salt Lake City, then Seattle, then Juneau(!), then from there to...Cleveland.

Trump recommended DeJoy and in 2021 DeJoy made over $300,000 in salary and bonus, in 2025 over a half million. I think he received the bonus for slowing down the mail.
