Sonny I’m a busy man in a busy city and not some hickn in Podunk. We get mail every single day because we are vital and busy people . Plus dim bulb, none of the other 20 house around here got theirs either many times in last two years. Too much of a thought process effort for you

Are you certain not getting mail one day a week isn't due to funding cuts? Where I live they cut their PO Hours to closing at 3 pm daily, and cutting Saturday to 11am? It stinks! But it comes from the post master general, at the top!

Here at my sister's house in Florida they get mail delivery and a separate package delivery truck every day, plus they even had Sunday delivery during Christmas time....

I was and still am shocked! But....she lives in a busy mail neighborhood, I suppose?

Private companies deliver packages, but they don't do mail and letters, because it costs them too much. Your knowledge of the industry wouldn't fill a thimble. Maybe when you graduate from high school and get a real job you will gain some knowledge of the real world.

I’ve commented before on our hoochie postmistress DEI that took over two years ago. Every week out of the 6 days we don’t get a delivery one day. Probably 1/3rd of the time two days no delivery and have had up to 4 with 3 very infrequent but occurs.
So no delivery this week since Monday so I went to see her again and took my letters, Got the standard excuses vacation, illness, Valentines rush, and it snowed 4” two days ago. But the coup de eta was they had No stamps. Been out since yesterday, may get tomorrow.

Perhaps you have forgotten how USPS has been burdened with unrealistic accounting rules and more. It's been going on for a long time, but Bush and Congress added much to it back in 2006. Special interests including UPS and FedEx wanted to get rid of the Postal Service.
