Trump must fix postal service

Man, you go for hysteria every time you post! Do you have permanent PMS? Do you ever stop to think and forget to start again?
Do you ever think before YOU post? Are you such an uninformed fool that you arent aware that Fed Ex is a hundred times better and more efficient than the USPS? Do you know a god damn thing about this subject at all? :cuckoo:

A few months ago, the agency reported it had lost $6.5 billion over the past year. More distressing is the agency has $135 billion in unfunded employee health care and pension benefits and is warning it could lose another $70 billion by 2030. Postmaster DeJoy has warned the agency could run out of cash in 5 years, at which point it would either cease operations or require a massive taxpayer bailout. Presently, the agency self-funds its operations through the sale of postage.

There is no mystery as to the causes of the agency’s fiscal distress: flagging revenues. The USPS’s revenues were $78.2 billion in 2023 and $74.9 billion in 2008, 15 years ago. That sounds like an increase, but it is not. Adjusted for inflation, last year’s $78.2 billion is equivalent to $54.1 billion in 2008 dollars. The USPS was built to deliver paper and the demand for that service has plunged 45 percent since 2008, from 213.1 billion pieces to 116.1 billion.

What kind of dinosaur actually still uses the USPS today? Still on a rotary phone too, dipshit? :cuckoo:

So, you want to spend $9.95 for Fedex to mail a letter across town?

My medications normally come through USPS. if they are refrigerated, they come via FEDEX at a much greater cost to you as a taxpayer because the USPS cannot deliver overnight. You want to pay a lot more in taxes to have Fedex charge $10 to deliver a single bottle of pills that last 3 months? I currently take 20 different medications. Are you up for spending $200+ dollars to have them sent to me, all by Fedex?

Didn't think it through, did you? Like I said!

I do. I recently received a letter from the mother of the young man whose liver donation saved my life. That is the only way we are allowed to communicate.

Just remember that you are unique, and we should cater to your whims. Just like everybody else.

Your personal needs are not relevant. All that matters is USPS is failing. They are going to need a bailout in 5 years, which is right around the time when medicare, medicaid and social security become insolvent as well.

Im not interested in bankrupting our nation so you can avoid using email.

USPS is only failing because they were required to prefund their retirement plan. You must have slept through the other threads on this topic. Do some research or remain ignorant.

See you you post funny in your own shit its a misuse and imbecile indicator
Mail guy loves me but they pull him off this route when they are under pressure. I tip him and give him water or coffee depending upon season. When he’s off the route is when we get 1-3 days of no delivery. I asked the hoochie postmistress and she said that’s internal policy she won’t discuss.
they cant pull the regular on the route off it .....

hey godboy a question for you....if Fed Ex is a hundred times better and more efficient than the USPS?.....how come they and UPS let them deliver many of their parcels?.....why would they do that?...

you would be surprised at how much mail companies pick up every day,,,,

I’ve commented before on our hoochie postmistress DEI that took over two years ago. Every week out of the 6 days we don’t get a delivery one day. Probably 1/3rd of the time two days no delivery and have had up to 4 with 3 very infrequent but occurs.
So no delivery this week since Monday so I went to see her again and took my letters, Got the standard excuses vacation, illness, Valentines rush, and it snowed 4” two days ago. But the coup de eta was they had No stamps. Been out since yesterday, may get tomorrow.
Merit and competence is what makes things work. Not having an ass as oval as a trash can and a 6th grade education
I want to complain, the only mail I get is junk mail and I want them to stop littering my mail box.

The current Postmaster General [ appointed by Trump}, appointed in June 2020, is Louis DeJoy.

If you look around you might see some glitzy stuff relating to the USPO on the mainstream ads. My guess they are paid for by disgruntled taxpayers like yourself.
