I think we've all heard trump is prone to make decisions based on the advice from the last guy in the room.

How about this: both Iran and Israel agree to disarmament, total and supervised removal of nuclear weapons, and agree to 6 months independent inspections by someone else besides the corrupt US?
You think Israel will give up their nukes ??

In his first term, Trump picked people who knew their job because he knew he didn’t. But he found that those who knew their job stuck to the law.

This time, Trump surrounded himself with people who do as they are told
Blind obedience being the only reason hacks like Bondi, Patel, Hegseth, Blanche, Lutnick, and Noem are still around.

How Trump Decided to Go to War

President Trump’s embrace of military action in Iran was spurred by an Israeli leader determined to end diplomatic negotiations. Few of the president’s advisers voiced opposition.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel walked into the Oval Office on the morning of Feb. 11, determined to keep the American president on the path to war.

For weeks, the United States and Israel had been secretly discussing a military offensive against Iran. But Trump administration officials had recently begun negotiating with the Iranians over the future of their nuclear program, and the Israeli leader wanted to make sure that the new diplomatic effort did not undermine the plans.

Over nearly three hours, the two leaders discussed the prospects of war and even possible dates for an attack, as well as the possibility — however unlikely — that Mr. Trump might be able to reach a deal with Iran.

Days later, the U.S. president made clear publicly that he was skeptical of the diplomatic route, dismissing the history of negotiating with Iran as merely years of “talking and talking and talking.”
Asked by reporters if he wanted regime change in Iran, Mr. Trump said it “seems like that would be the best thing that could happen.”

Two weeks later, the president took the United States to war.

A couple things about that. "Talking and talking and talking" resulted in Iran agreeing to the JCPOA, which prevented it from developing a nuclear weapon. Until Don killed it cuz Obama helped put it in place. Secondly, it's too bad trump doesn't know his history, doesn't pay attention to security briefings, and is therefore impressionable when confronted with someone of strong convictions who can lie to him without him knowing it. Lastly, going to war with Iran checks a lot of boxes with respect to taking folk's minds off the horrible job he's doing, the missing Epstein files, inflation, and the chance to change the calculus of the upcoming midterm elections.
He is the last guy in the room, not bidenlike at all.
