How To Clear Your iPhone Location History

Some or even most of you may already know this but I just stumbled upon it today. Your phone tracks your locations throughout the month. You can turn this feature off. At least in my version of the iPhone:

1) Settings
2) Privacy & Security
3) Location Services
4) System Services
5) Significant Locations & Routes

First ... click on "Clear History." Then, turn "Significant Locations & Routes" OFF.

Of course it does, the #1 reason why I never travel with a cellphone turned on. And that turn-off feature, there is no guarantee that this doesn't just turn off its display to you while still working in the backlground, or worse, that your phone doesn't already share, and isn't at least capable of sharing on demand, sharing your location history with others without you even knowing. That is why I use a very basic cellphone with no smart features that really turns off that if I want to, I can flip right over and even take the battery out of.
