In fact, the best Trump can hope for is an agreement on par with President Obama’s 2015 accords – rendering Trump’s illegal war of choice pointless and wasteful.

No regime change, no end to Iran’s nuclear capabilities, no end to the blockade by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.

It is just BS. The strategy of the USA is long-term controlled demolition of its enemies. The USA does not give up unless it is stopped physically. Since Iran, China and Russia won't fight in a meaningful way, they will all be toppled eventually by the USA.
