Trump Is ‘Bored’ With the War He Started

IN an asymmetrical war, Iran must use every tool that they have to defend themselves and protect their interests.. Do you give Trump a pass for the blockade of Iranian ports while supposidly trying to negotiate a peace deal. ? Do you give him a pass for threatening to wipe out a civilization?

A simple YES you support them, would have been fine.

So, thanks for making my point. You are on the side of Iran.

Quit being a little goblin. Trump got us in this, and we want out of it. Who else are we going to blame?

Goblin? lol, you can’t answer the question. You all are cheering on Iran, and dissing America, almost as if you’d spite the country just to see trump fail. Why is that?

No one is rooting for Iran to win ,. It takes a special kind of stupid to think that. But I do take please in how much Trump has lost with his ill conceived "excursion"

You take pleasure in how much trump has lost….yet trumps loss is Americas loss. You all would root for trump to fail, and by extension, America to fail, because you hate trump.

Christ--if he was real- preached peace, but the history of the christian religion-and especially the current crop of Evangelicals and Christian Nationalists are about anything but peace. They are no less inclined to make war on the "infidel" who is pretty much anyone who does not believe as they do. They are the American taliban.
No argument

He wants out, but Iran could likely keep going for months.

“Trump is tired of the war, which has proved far more difficult and lasted far longer than he had expected. His party is warily watching rising gas prices and falling poll numbers. He doesn’t want to be bogged down in a Middle East conflict like some of his predecessors were. He doesn’t want it to upend his high-stakes summit next week in China. He is ready to move on.

But Iran, it seems, does not want the war to come to a close. Or at least not with any sort of outcome that could be acceptable to American negotiators. Trump is now in a bind. The president, five aides and outside advisers told me, is convinced that he can sell any sort of agreement as a win. But at least for now, the man who wrote The Art of the Deal can’t even get Iran to the negotiating table. Today, Washington is still waiting for Iran to respond to the latest offering, a one-page memorandum of understanding that is far more of an extension of the cease-fire than a treaty to end the conflict.”

Trump is wrong, he can’t sell any sort of agreement as a ‘win.’

Indeed, Trump’s Iran fiasco is a failure, an illegal war of choice.

In fact, the best Trump can hope for is an agreement on par with President Obama’s 2015 accords – rendering Trump’s illegal war of choice pointless and wasteful.

No regime change, no end to Iran’s nuclear capabilities, no end to the blockade by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
What happens if this blunder continues until Christmas?

This link posits seven stages of meltdown coming our way:

The first (and second) stages has been an inaccurate market response appraising the risks of economic shortages and price increases.

Central banks may compound the problem by raising interest rates, leading to a fourth stage:

"Fourthly, absolute shortages will begin to develop. These will first happen with petrol, diesel, jet fuel, and other oil-based energy sources.

"Reports are now appearing that stocks of all such products are declining rapidly.

"The forecasts of absolute shortages from sometime during June onwards appear to be accurate.

"This is when the consequences of this war begin to have a very direct impact on our well-being.

This could happen by fall.

How will Trump respond if this death-spiral continues until Christmas?

Nice straw man logical fallacy, I am not arguing about why we are bombing them . Try to address the actual point tat I made

Your point seemed to be "christians" fighting people that "dont believe as they do" ie not agreeing on christianity.

If I got that wrong, maybe pepper your post with less anti-Christian whining, and your point will be more... clear.

No regime change - yet

No end to nukes - yet

And no end to to the blockade of IRAN OIL

And no money for the jihadi’s

So there is still the lib fear that trump and America will win

He didn't start it.
Ayatollah Khomeni started it, with his policy of "Exporting Islam".

You're an idiot if you actually believe this to be true.

What about the Reagan Administration trading weapons with Iran for hostages (See Iran/Contra scandal)?

The USA messed around with Iranian politics post WWII and tens of thousands Iranians were murdered by the Shah and his regime. He was as bad if not worse than the Ayatollahs. The CIA kept him on the Peacock throne because "Better dead than red" wasn't just a bumper sticker, it was US foreign policy in their crusade against communism.

His Israeli owners won't permit him to give up on their "Greater Israel" mandate. They've invested far too much money in his Presidency to let him off the hook that easily.

Who teh **** cares at this late date? Hell, who the **** cared when it happened?

Makes sense. You take sides in a war, even a COLD WAR and you are rolling the dice.

Iran today, would be better off, if the shahs remained in control.

We need to stop this shooting, let the traffic flow, and make sure the world knows every time Iran gets to building an atomic bomb, we will bomb it and set them back.

Every.

Single.

Time.

As for Israel, it will be here in a thousand years still, and we will all me nothing in our graves.

We have no such fear regarding Trump. Trump has already lost and there is no way back from the abyss. Iran is toying with him , They have given up nothing and Trump has nothing to show for the human and financial toll that the war as taken. It is only the American people ....and the Iranian people who I fear for.

Holy shit!!! Seriously? It is not about agreeing , It is about one religion imposing it's beliefs on others. You are either playing a sick game and pretending to not understand that, or you are just that stupid.. When are you people going to understand that I am not anti christian- I am anti religion, at east the authoritarian monotheistic religions that control the masses with fear and superstition.

No one is cheering on Iran. We want Trump to stop being such an ass.

That’s fine, so stop bringing up all these articles celebrating trumps failure in the war. I get that you don’t like the war, but good grief, at least root for America.

What happens if Iran stops trying to get a nuke and agrees to stop funding terrorism and never block teh straits again?
