Red wave worked.....not to total expectations, but it worked.Sadly, that decision cost Republicans 4% to 5% of vote and it stopped a Red Wave.
So if his primary opponent is a rino or isn’t clear on ditching the green scam or stopping illegal immigration you’ll vote for him anyway as long he’s not an orange boor?I see the utility in abortion but once, just once, I’d like to hear Trump say he screwed up.
It's one of the reasons I'll not be voting for him in the primary.
It remains to be seen who will be fielded....I'm hoping DeSantis. So if his primary opponent is a rino or isn’t clear on ditching the green scam or stopping illegal immigration you’ll vote for him anyway as long he’s not an orange boor?
Desantis has not been clear on stopping green fascism. It remains to be seen who will be fielded....I'm hoping DeSantis.
Desantis has not been clear on stopping green fascism.
I get the impression that he has more integrity than that but he’s been very careful about not being committed on certain subjects. The green scam is one.DeSantis will say whatever benefits him at the moment. We've seen big talking GOP pols before, only to watch them backtrack the second they get elected and sworn in.
You mean the ones not in jail?
Linky linky, plz. thx.Trump blamed pro-lifers for 2020 election. He said:
2023 is off to a resounding start, with the most pro-life president of the post-Roe v. Wade era blaming pro-lifers for the Republicans’ disappointing showing in the midterm elections. After being widely blamed for that poor showing, Donald Trump struck back on New Year’s Day, writing on Truth Social: “It wasn’t my fault that the Republicans didn’t live up to expectations in the MidTerms. I was 233-20! It was the ‘abortion issue,’ poorly handled by many Republicans, especially those that firmly insisted on No Exceptions, even in the case of Rape, Incest, or Life of the Mother, that lost large numbers of Voters.
Trump is correct again. Some Republicans are really stupid. Who the HELL doesn't want to give an exception for the life of the mother or incest or rape
Take your pick. Leo is referring to a current event topic of common knowledge, you may have missed.Linky linky, plz. thx.
Believing in life for the unborn is not stupid. It is blessed. While rape is not a pleasant thing, giving life to furnish a child to a childless couple is also a blessing. If the woman is traumatized, on she should be allowed the choice between life or a morning after pill.Trump blamed pro-lifers for 2020 election. He said:

The Republicans could have been like Democrats and simply dodged all questions about whether they support banning abortion with no exceptions.
Just like Democrats dodge all questions about whether they support allowing all abortions, not matter how late in the pregnancy.
Ending Roe v. Wade and their push for limiting abortions in the wake of the ruling almost certainly did cost the Republicans some seats. Nothing has been internalized by Democratic women more than the "right" to kill their unborn babies up to and even a little beyond the moment of birth. No doubt that motivated them to go to the polls.
And sometimes you get exactly what you deserve.Sometimes you don't get rewarded for doing the right thing.
"Or maybe women just don't want the government to tell them what they can do with their bodies. What amazes me is you wingnuts went absolutely apeshit when Biden merely suggested a vaccine mandate, but you want to tell a woman that she has to have her rapist's deformed baby, not matter what!"Well, no, you can't. Do you support the right of a woman to abort a pregnancy after she has been raped? It's a simple yes or no question. And if your answer is yes, then that is pretty much the end of the discussion.
Except no one is going through 7 months of pregnancy to have an abortion unless something has gone horribly wrong with the pregnancy.
Or maybe women just don't want the government to tell them what they can do with their bodies. What amazes me is you wingnuts went absolutely apeshit when Biden merely suggested a vaccine mandate, but you want to tell a woman that she has to have her rapist's deformed baby, not matter what!

You see, the GOP has had 50 years to overturn Roe. They passed silly laws they knew wouldn't get past the courts. Republican presidents had the good sense to appoint pro-life justices (After FIVE GOP appointees were in on the original decision). Only because Trump appointed the rapist and the crazy religious nut to the court are we in this position.

As for President Trump dissing right to lifers who are firm Republicans, and have supported him in the past, I think he lost more supporters by betraying too many loyal and faithful people.
