Tom Brady to Jets?

No no no. He's out of shape and way too old. Rodgers injury was age related IMO. It was a mild hit by Pro standards. Same thing would happen to Brady.
Many ACL tears this week… (Dobbins, Conklin, Rodgers) I think it’s from players not practicing full speed up to game level exertion and barely playing any preseason.

I'm just putting this out there.....I'm available.

There, I said it.

ACLs are the ligaments around the knee, Rodgers has an Achilles tear. Achilles tears are more common in older men and athletes as flexibility decreases and cumulative damage adds up.

So then explain Dobbins and Conklin

If he was out of the league for a year I would agree he was out of shape but it has only been a few months so it wouldnt take too long to get back in shape so that wouldnt be an issue and even though he is too old,he is still ten times a better choice than wilson,Brady did not have any help from his recievers last year, they were dropping passes in critical moments n close games,he did not have the supporting cast around him last year so that would not be an issue.if it were just the out of shape and age factor than there would be no problem with Brady coming back and playing for the jets the problem for WHY this wont happen and why its a pipe dream,a fantasy is for these two reasons.

ONE-When he left the pats it was a no brainer easy decision for brady to make because he was going to an NFC team. The Jets are not only in the AFC but in the pats division so that alone would keep brady from playing for the jets.Brady MIGHT possibly consider coming back for another team in the AFC but not one in his own division where most his career was made.

TWO-This is the main most important reason this will never happen. When you are a minority owner you have to get approval from all the owners to play in the league,at least half the owners would never give approval.

a pure pipe dream especially sense most pats fans would turn on him and burn his jersey and rightfully so consider him a traiter after saying at the opening ceremony he was a patriot for life.

Another wild rumor.

This article here pretty much puts that pipe dream to rest.:auiqs.jpg:

What are you disagreeing with? That old people are more prone to tearing their Achilles tendon and the fact that a younger person did it doesn't change that fact?

Explain what? They had ACL tears and Rodgers had an Achilles tear. Different things. There are multiple theories as to why more of these types of injuries are occurring, lack of full speed preparation as you said being one. Another is artificial turf is causing more injuries than grass although I haven't seen any stats on that.

He owns a piece of the Raiders (Commitment to Excrement), why would he play for the Jets?

Me too. I may be old and out of shape with terrible knees. But at least I’m very slow, barely mobile and can’t throw a football all that far or with any particular accuracy.

The Jets should have pursued Lamar Jackson instead of Rodgers. He is just 26 and very mobile.

Sure, though Im not tracking how that has anything to do with what I said. For all we know the Jets did inquire about Jackson. Lamar ended up getting 260 million from the Ravens over 5 years. Thats 15 million a year more than the Jets paid Rodgers, and the Jets would have had to give up their 1st Rd draft pick this year and next year to sign him off the tag. Maybe it would have been worth it but Jackson hasn't exactly been injury free his career. He's missed significant amounts of time the last 2 years including the PO's.

Rodgers already gave up money on his contract, the reaminder of which seems absolutely ridiculous at this point, how many millions of dollars is he set to make watching every game from the sideline? I saw something online about how Green Bay should give back something to the Jets, which is ridiculous, because Rodgers did not come with a warranty.
