There is a lot of blame to go around. The media does not help... they cater to a dumbed down narcissistic public, plus they have a solid agenda of their own.

But as for the republicans, I am thinking if Trump were not part of this gaggle of geese, all the others would have conducted themselves far more formally with far less jabs and smears at each other. Trump forced everyone's hand.

What I would like to know is how Obama ever became the candidate of choice in the donkey party back then? He had and has no credentials except dark ones. And why in the last four years did not some honorable democrat (if there is one) not see that Hillary was a joke and make a concerted effort to establish his or her own campaign?

Donald Trump is there solely because he's seen as the anti-obama. It's a cult of personality backlash. There's no question he's adding a lot of drama to the campaign but a lot of people don't trust politicians anymore and are tired of this country hemorrhaging jobs. When I say "republican policies" I am referring to what they say publicly are their beliefs or goals. Not what you contend are their devious designs or what they have promised to their benefactors.

Where are any republican presidential candidates in memory saying his policy is to export American jobs in order for you consumers to be able to buy goods a little cheaper at Walmart?

I have a job, my own actually. Unlike you it's legal and doesn't involve sneaking around on street corners. Americans vote with their dollars, not just Republicans.

Conservativism works every time it's tried. Lowering taxes and spending increases the economy. The opposite has the opposite effect. Why blame China but not Mexico? Clinton wasn't a Republican.
