Actually it wouldn't.
Not everyone is suited for a college education.....and not everyone who comes to America will do well. Many will only become a burden, which is why illegal immigrants are such a problem. But if these snowflakes want to force their political viewpoints on us, we should be able to apply it to everything including their privileged institutions of higher learning.

They already do that. It’s called “Legacy Admissions”. It’s how W got into Harvard and Yale. It certainly wasn’t his C average.

A program that moves the unqualified offspring of alumni to the head of the line isn’t “white privilege”, but a program which gives poor black students who grow up in inner cities an opportunity for a spot at an Ivy League school is unfair to the all of the qualified white kids who don’t get in.

Nobody is suggesting dropping the legacy admissions as unfair, but affirmative action has to go!

Dubya got into Yale courtesy of daddy. The kid wasn't bright enough to get in on his own. Perhaps Harvard also accepts legacy kids. Who knows? But the rest of the kids have to sweat their asses off to get in.

Barack Obama made it to Harvard, and he was not a privileged kid. Both Bill Clinton and Rachel Maddow made it to Oxford, winning Rhodes Scholarships. They were not legacy kids. We don't need to dumb down education. We need to get kids away from their video games and cell phones, away from tinkering with cars, away from ogling ill-clad "cheerleaders" or becoming ill-clad "cheerleaders" themselves, away from trying to find who sells beer, and get them to crack the books and compete.

Years ago, there was a guy at my company who was Vietnamese, fled Saigon. His English was not so great. He sat his kids down every night at the supper table and supervised them doing their homework. Result: three engineering graduates from U. Va. America seems to be full of quack parents who either don't know how to do this or are too negligent to do it. It's up to the parents.
