Former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova said Democrats are doing an "impeachment lite" and not a formal impeachment inquiry in order to avoid giving Republicans subpoena power. From his interview with Lou Dobbs on Thursday:
JOE DIGENOVA: It's quite obvious what the Democrats are doing. They have not had a vote on the floor of the House to start a formal impeachment inquiry because if they were to have such a vote, under the House rules for impeachment, the Republicans would get subpoena power. In order to avoid giving the Republicans subpoena power, they are doing impeachment lite with these six different committees who are claiming it's an impeachment inquiry, and they are trying to subpoena people and get documents without having an impeachment vote on the floor. That is why the White House said we are not going to cooperate with this kangaroo court.

In case folks are not clear about the latest deeds by Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler and the Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrat Bolsheviks. It began January 3, 2017 because the OMS/DSA Commie Left couldn't accept an election result by American citizens.
The truth is PMS/DSA lefties despise the U.S. Constitution and average American citizen who doesn’t agree with them or who won’t subjugate themselves to their lunacy.Can Congress, in effect, deny due process to any citizen, even the president?
Dems yell impeach while protecting those vulnerable from a vote and limiting republican abilities.
It's pure politics. Same as what we saw during the "Russia Collusion" hoax; same thing we've witnessed for 3 years: The Left can't accept the fact that Trump won, so play endless games like "Impeachment Lite"; continuously churn out baseless innuendo; maintain a cloud of uncertainty. These people are actually being paid a salary to do this.
These attempts have continued and much to the chagrin of the PMS/DSA Leftists they continue to fail and push the people to re-elect Trump. I fear that their continued failures will lead to kinetic action at our president.
