Yes but the fact he did it was hardly surprising. Impeachment used to be a very serious matter done only in extreme circumstances it’s now a joke. Does this guy need to go in my opinion yes but Schumer and the Democrats were never going to let it go forward in the Senate.

Not true, never was. Z said he was never pressured and never aware that there was any hold up of aid. Trump was well within his prerogative as POTUS to verify where the money was going, and Obama did that all the time and also held up aid to Ukraine.

Biden was the guy who withheld aid to get a prosecutor fired (there's your extortion), and even then that aid was not released until much later in the year.

I’m glad this is happening. If trump manages to get reelected, and the dems take the house but repubs take the senate, you know the dems will impeach trump again, and the republican senate can say “pound sand with your impeachment, we’re not even going to hold a trial”
