Comedian Bill Maher is seeing through the stormy weather surrounding former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial in Manhattan.
Maher dredged up an old interview porn star Stormy Daniels gave to him back in 2018 — which raises questions about the credibility of her testimony on the witness stand.
“She’s a bad witness,” Maher declared during Friday night’s episode of “Real Time,” after joking, “It’s Stormy or bust.”
The comic and political pundit played a clip from the 2018 interview in which Daniels was emphatic that her alleged July 2006 hanky-panky with Trump was consensual and not to be construed as part of the MeToo movement that was in full swing at the time.
“You say it’s not a MeToo case,” Maher pressed Daniels at the time.

Maher contended that Daniels’ testimony now has deviated from her original iteration of the alleged encounter.
“She’s talking about ‘he was bigger and blocking the way.’ It’s all the MeToo buzzwords. She said, ‘There was an imbalance of power for sure.’ ‘My hands were shaking so hard.’ She said she blacked out. Blacked out? She’s a porn star!” Maher exclaimed.
“Do you really think she blacked out? A porn star is used to having sex with people she doesn’t [like],” he went on. “I just think she’s not a good witness.”

Commentary:
Surely Bill Maher and others are "frustrated" with the delays of the Trump trials, but this is what happens when sloppy "Lawfare cases" are thrown together in order interfere with the presidential election and attempt to ensure Biden's reelection. Call them what they are, nothing more than political show trials with no "There" there.
So Trump paid hush money and labeled it legal fees. Hillary bought the bogus Steele dossier and labeled the funds as legal fees. Hillary was fined - Trump is prosecuted by a state court for a Federal crime, which the Feds passed on prosecuting. Selective, political prosecution?
Seems that Lady Justice has taken a long sabbatical in Democrat Neo-Marxist Blue Plantation States.

He turned a possible misdemeanor charge that was long past due date into a felony that even the DOJ wouldn't pursue because there is no case to prove and Stormy Daniels testimony wasn't about the charges at all it was meant to embarrass Trump nothing more, when Bragg pursued this angle, it was clear he is running on empty.

That was from a mobile Amazon Fire Table, using speech to text. So it is what it is. Little, tiny keyboards are not for me. I have enough trouble with a full size QWERTY keyboard. Through college and all military, past AOB, I religiously used spelling and grammar check on assignments or communications above Battalion Level, or civilian communication with Corporate. This is meatball stuff here.

Oh, and I only got a lousy "B" in Freshman Comp, though spelling and grammar were perfect and active voice on every paper. I turned in a 15-page research paper on Plate Tectonic Effects on California. This is not what that English teacher was looking for, though she had said the subject of the research paper was up to us. She noted in Red, grammar, spelling and MLA form was perfect, but I failed to take into account the audience, that would be reading it. That paper was 30% of the final grade.
