To all you that hate Trump and tariffs especially on China... read on!

Well, I'm 62.

You and I will not be alive it does ever happen. Too many obstacles.

Well Debbie, if you will allow me to address each of Forbes road blocks individually,

1. Cost Of Labor And Production

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it liberal Democrats that were screaming "Livable wage" for like the past 15 years, or longer? Now, you use it a barrier to make us dependent on one of this nations enemies for things like life saving drugs?
Yet, you won't see the failure in that.

2. Supply Chain Complexity

We can solve supply chain by simply becoming aggressive in what we need, and stop letting these other countries walk all over us...And, what we lack, we need to find here, and we can.

3. Skilled Labor Shortage

That metric more than anything I can think of is a failure of Education that has been dominated by Democrats, and in control of Democrats for 50 years or longer....The kids today are smart, and we are letting them graduate unable to do math or read....Who's fault is that?

4. Capital Investment And Infrastructure

Businesses are willing to invest if they see a stable future in doing so...Trump is giving that incentive...

5. Economic And Trade Policies

Why would we continue the same policies that have allowed the rest of the world to eat our lunch since the 70s? That's just stupid and weak.

6. Technological Advancements And Automation

America has, until recently been leaders in innovation, and advancement in a broad range of areas...Why has that changed? I think we have to look at the politicization of our education system....We need to get back to basics, and bring back the trades into our education system in the schools again...

Now, will this be an overnight change? no. But is it necessary? absolutely.

Doubt it....Trump is not the nervous Nelly that you people are....Trump is playing a longer game...
And, Trump understands that a firm hand is required when dealing with the democrat ideologue.

They don’t read. They want LW slogans or soundbites-gotcha questions. Below link is too complicated for them. I read a few sections but it is a lot to read all at once.

Yes, everyone understands you have limitations. Read sections in small parts and take a break. It will help you concentrate.

China uses according to this source: List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor

List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor
The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) maintains a list of goods and their source countries which it has reason to believe are produced by child labor or forced labor in violation of international standards, as required under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) of 2005 and subsequent reauthorizations. The List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor comprises 204 goods from 82 countries and areas, as of September 5, 2024.
Aluminum, car parts, bricks, caustic soda cotton,Electrolytic Copper Products,Electronics, Fish, garments, garments cotton, gloves, hair products Lithium-ion batteries, Metallurgical Grade Silicon, Photovoltaic Ingots, Photovoltaic Wafers
Adults are forced to produce polysilicon for solar panels in China
polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a plastic used in a wide range of applications such as flooring, construction materials, pipes, and vinyl siding.
ILAB has reason to believe that multiple solar products produced in China are made with an input using forced labor,
These products include photovoltaic ingots and wafers (China), solar cells (China), and solar modules (China).
ILAB has reason to believe that cotton thread/ yarn, cotton textiles, and cotton garments produced in China are made with an input produced with forced labor—

So to you pious, haters of Trump, anti-fossil fuels, solar panel, wind turbine lovers... are you also approving of China's use of forced labor and kids?
What hypocrites you are!

How come Russia isn't getting tariffed?

Hidden cost burden on US Auto.

  • U.S. automakers face a variety of non-tariff barriers that impede access to the Japanese and Korean automotive markets, including non-acceptance of certain U.S. standards, duplicative testing and certification requirements, and transparency issues. Due to these non-reciprocal practices, the U.S. automotive industry loses out on an additional $13.5 billion in annual exports to Japan and access to a larger import market share in Korea—all while the U.S. trade deficit with Korea more than tripled from 2019 to 2024.

  • The United States imposes a 2.5% tariff on passenger vehicle imports (with internal combustion engines), while the European Union (10%) and India (70%) impose much higher duties on the same product.
  • For networking switches and routers, the United States imposes a 0% tariff, but India (10-20%) levies higher rates.
  • Brazil (18%) and Indonesia (30%) impose a higher tariff on ethanol than does the United States (2.5%).
  • For rice in the husk, the U.S. imposes a tariff of 2.7%, while India (80%), Malaysia (40%), and Turkey (31%) impose higher rates.
  • Apples enter the United States duty-free, but not so in Turkey (60.3%) and India (50%).

I will also make the point that GOVERNMENT mooching deadbeat losers who can't get a real job TAX and FEE the crap out of everything. At the Federal, State, Local, County, City levels. Multiple overlapping taxes. DOUBLE taxation. They have their greedy paws on OUR money at every turn. So it's not just other countries and a tariff war.

There are sanctions already on Russia. However, don’t let that interfere with a conspiracy theory you’re hoping to float.
Of course you failed to answer correctly.

"According to the United States Census Bureau, trade with Russia has slumped dramatically since it began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine: from around $36 billion (€32.9 billion) in 2021 to around $3.5 billion (€3.2 billion) in 2024.

"Bessent's claim that there is no trade with Russia therefore fails to reflect the reality that imports from the country, reduced as they may be, remain significant for the US, particularly because they involve strategic goods such as fertilizers and inorganic chemicals"

"Even if trade with Russia is now one-tenth of previous levels, its omission from Trump's new tariffs cannot be explained by existing sanctions and the drop in import figures alone"

"Political scientist Alexandra Filippenko sees Trump's decision to exclude Russia from the tariff list as a clear indication that improving relations with Moscow is a priority for him. "The Russian authorities have understood the political signal," she said, referring to a Telegram post by the Russian president's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, who is currently in Washington. In it, Dmitriev said that the restoration of dialogue between Russia and the US is a "difficult and gradual process" but that "each meeting, each frank conversation allows us to move forward."

As is typical, you failed to understand what was in the link you supplied. You might try reading the links you post.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Fox News on Wednesday that Russia was exempt because the U.S. doesn’t trade with them under heavy sanctions placed on the country after it invaded Ukraine in 2022.

So, Germany is complaining here…What else is new?
