It’s cyclical. So not volcanic. IT’s temperature dependent. Melt water and thermal. Maybe read up on Thermohaline circulation and the cause that disrupt it.

The sun does not yo yo. The northern hemisphere is driving the climate of the planet. When it glaciates the planet cools due to the negative feedback of albedo. When it deglaciates like it is doing today the planet warms due to the positive feedback of albedo. When heat is circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic the Arctic deglaciates. When heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic gets disrupted the Arctic glaciates.

Actually, yes it does. There are multiple cycles that affect the Sun. Yes, the northern hemisphere gets the majority of Sunlight. So go figure.

All you are doing is arguing in a circle. The thermohaline circulation is in equilibrium, then, it isn't.

So the system works to bring itself back into equilibrium.

Your arguments have consisted of "the system is working go bring back equilibrium, that it was working to bring back.

You ignore the fact that the system WAS in equilibrium, then, some OUTSIDE force pushes it out of balance.
