Once again Republican policies have the opposite of the effect they intended. Banning abortion in 22 states has resulted in an INCREASE in the number of abortions in the USA in every year since Roe v. Wade was overturned. But what is worse is that both infant mortality AND maternal mortality - already the highest in the first world, has dramatically increased in states which banned abortion.

Universal health care, child tax benefits of $679 per month, per child, for low income families, 1 year paid maternity/paternity benefits, $10/day day care for children, and a minimum wage for all workers of $17+ per hour would go a long way to cutting abortions. That's what we have in Canada. The USA has NOTHING for young families.

Republicans only care about children as long as they are in utero. Once they're really "alive", they're on their own.

2 Timothy 3:1-5: "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God."

So shouldn't you be celebrating then?

What happened to "safe, legal, and rare"?

Sounds like your Republican Party to me. They care nothing for women, children or families. Nothing says MAGA like "lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal," for locking up immigrants, selling pardons, and claiming that Trump is the best President ever, even as Americans are dying.

Thanks for admitting that you've really lost your way.

So, now you're in favor of the SC decision. What took you so long?

Maybe you can write a whole essay for us re: how Canada killing depressed young adults through MAID is "caring for" people.

Sooner or later they are going to start advertising for Soylent Green.

Buuuuuuut you all claimed that when Roe V Wade was overturned that abortions would become illegal.

Aaaaaaaand we all said, no...they won't. It will be state issue, instead of a federal one.

So this just proves we were correct, and that all of you were either lying, or stupid.

And you said that, "we will **** it all up, and we can all around in confusion," and so it came to pass.

MAID is strictly prohibited for anyone under 18 years of age, and under current legislation, MAID is banned for anyone whose sole underlying condition is a mental illness (such as major depression).

The topic is abortion, and how Republicans have found a way to kill women and children, without affecting abortion. Stick with the topic at hand.

According to your own post, abortions are increasing, access still exists, and people are finding alternatives to state bans.

For a policy that's supposedly causing the end of civilization, it sure sounds like you're describing a disagreement over who gets to make the rules rather than a disappearance of abortion.
