In order to save the planet, only 25% of the people in France live with air conditioning. In Spain and Italy, the figure is just 50%. In comparison, both the US and Japan have 90%. Now, with a major heat wave spreading through Europe killing many people because, apparently, they failed to save the planet after all by living without air coniditioning, they are now coming to the conclusion that air conditioning may be necessary.

Even all the Paris accords and other lefty bullshit only limited the amount of temp increases and did nothing to keep temps the same or lower them. What we need to do is admit there is nothing we can do about temp increases and concentrate on dealing with the effects of that because we can't stop temps going up, we can't stop ice ages, we can't stop the sun from going supernova, and we can't stop the universe from eventually ending in one way or another. At best, we MIGHT be able to stop a dinosaur ending asteroid from zonking us, MAYBE.

You're looking at it all wrong. You are actually contributing to saving the planet. The more and higher grass there is, the more it removes CO2 from the atmosphere and the more Oxygen it exhales. You should be up for a Nobel prize for this discovery and simple solution to saving the planet.

We could spend hundreds of trillions of dollars and wreck our economies to reduce temperatures by 0.1 degrees in 2100.

Yes well, they get such a nice cool breeze coming in off the Mediterranean that they don't need it. Maybe they should switch to 0% AC. ITMT, all those dead Europeans will just help to further reduce global heating.
