He's simply way out of step with the citizens who vote in this country.

He can't find common ground with much of anyone.

But he is in step with the people who voted him in office. Just like Rand Paul. The massive problem in this country is our local representatives and senators appeal to their constituents and then go to DC to get rich off the gravy train and play their part in the political theatre. Both parties need diverse people who faithfully represent their local constituents, not the corrupt party they are affiliated with. Then Washington will be filled with people like Massie, Paul, Manchin and Sinema. When congress is full of America First politicians, the gravy train stops and gets decommissioned and the government returns to benefitting the people.
