Thomas Massie’s America First

I used to be a Trump Cultist in the past years ago, but these days I can safely say Trump alienated and killed off most of the support I had for him due to his own actions, backwalking, and vanity projects. Thomas Massie is someone I would vote for President. Him over Vance any day!

"You gotta laugh when people make out like one lone congressman is supposed to have done things that even the president couldn't do. - "

No,

That's what we keep telling you.

One House member who can't build a coalition is of no value.
Yet you keep promoting him.

You RINO's think he should join the current coalition of big spending, big government republicans?

Why? That totally goes against what those RINO's campaigned on.

You gotta laugh when people make out like one lone congressman is supposed to have done things that even the president couldn't do. As if Massie is supposed to have more power and influence than even the house chairman.

And they never question those Republicans who didn't support the legislation he's introduced.

Like these (short list)

H.R. 5066 - Safe Students Act (Re-introduced August 28, 2025) - Repeals the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, allowing state and local governments to set their own firearms policies for school zones.

H.R. 1233 - No Taxpayer Funding for Censorship Act - Prohibits the use of taxpayer funds for “disinformation research grants” within federal departments, targeting programs Massie views as censoring free speech.

Not to mention the ton of legislation he's sponsored and co sponsored to reduce federal spending.
When they say he gets nothing done, all they're really saying is that he doesn't rubber stamp everything on Trump's agenda. And that pisses them off. They want a "yes man".

Conservatives, in your little analogy, would've read the map and known which way to go long before they got to the fork.

We need merit based politicians.

I'm starting to see things online about JD Vance 2028. (instead of DeSantis)
DeSantis, I am not sure where I stand on him but he has done a good job in his state as far as I am aware. JD Vance, I don't like or trust him because he has some really shady backers. Both lose me at Israel though - we need to have actual America First candidates who aren't entrenched in the Israeli crowd.

I don't know Kentucky well, but he seems popular there. I wonder how they'll take Trump's attempts to primary him....

Last time, KY didn't give a crap about Trumps attacks on him. But the Trump tribe is a lot bigger now. And the money flowing into attack ads against him is a lot more now.

So who knows......

DeSantis lost me when he started going after businesses that required vaccines (either for employers or guests). I'm adamantly opposed to state mandates regarding vaccines, but neither should the state mandate how companies do business. If businesses want to limit themselves to customers or employees who are vaccinated, that's their call.

Anyway, he also just seems like another populist "stunt" politician, where token statements and tweaking noses are more important than governing.

I'm very against any form of vaccine mandates and anyone that requires them is a petty tyrant.

He didn't stick with that very long, did he?

Why do you say "cultist"?

"That totally goes against what those RINO's campaigned on"

.

Do you have actual examples?

Debating ideas

Nope. But your projection is impressive.

Nope.

Arguing with folks is all you're doing now. It would've taken much less time to just want the video. It's only about 13 minutes.

Give us highlights. Not 25 yr old Epstein stories (nobody cares), not info on local KY BS. This is now. We only have a few years to reverse DEM + "phony R" damages. No, its not going to be easy. President Trump is trying the best possible in todays' system. SHUP about 3 yrs out.

Quit wasting time on fringe fantasy BS.

Why do you say "cultist"?
People who are unwilling to question Trump and who make it their entire personality to defend the ground he walks on no matter what he does, are cultists.

Leftists do the same thing for their leaders. MAGA cultists do the same for Trump. Whats so hard to understand that both are guilty of the same thing?
