If they did they would know that the planet warms when the northern hemisphere deglaciates and cools when the northern hemisphere glaciates. So for the past 3 million years the northern hemisphere drives the climate of the planet and the ocean drives the climate of the northern hemisphere. They know.
I think you have to say that but legacy says otherwise.I'd say Alexander the Great has been well studied and, arguably had an even greater influence on Western culture than Jesus. Mohammad, the Budda, and Gengis Khan would be on a short list too.
Was he worshipped as God because he really did perform those miracles or were miracles attributed to him because he was worshipped as God?
Do you believe in the Golden Plates of Joseph Smith or the dictation of an angel to Mohammad? Plenty of people do and they are ready to die for their beliefs.
Exactly my point, you can't discuss someone you don't know.Shrug. You were the one declaring a historical document as not true, despite other indications. My point was that instead of arguing over what people of the past may have said--or not said--about Jesus, what are we learning about him as we welcome him into our own lives today? If you say, "I don't welcome him in..." end of discussion. You can't discuss someone you don't know.
I don't know enough to say you are right or wrong. If they did they would know that the planet warms when the northern hemisphere deglaciates and cools when the northern hemisphere glaciates. So for the past 3 million years the northern hemisphere drives the climate of the planet and the ocean drives the climate of the northern hemisphere.
So I don't believe they do know that. They think the atmosphere drives the climate of the planet.
I'm not familiar with Jesus being condemned for sorcery. Can you point to the passages.Unfortunately for you it was also recorded by non-Christian historians that early Christians credited Jesus with performing miracles and Jesus was condemned for sorcery. Why would they charge Jesus with sorcery if there wasn't any reason to charge Jesus with sorcery?
I'm sure there will be many galactic copies of USMB by then.Forever is a long time. Especially when our sun has a finite life and will eventually engulf the earth.
who "condemned" Jesus for "sorcery"? By "condemned" do you meanI think you have to say that but legacy says otherwise.
Just like you have to bring up Joseph Smith to argue Jesus was worshipped as God for no good reason. Unfortunately for you it was also recorded by non-Christian historians that early Christians credited Jesus with performing miracles and Jesus was condemned for sorcery. Why would they charge Jesus with sorcery if there wasn't any reason to charge Jesus with sorcery?
The Pharisees accused Jesus of sorcery and blaspheme. Pilot convicted him.who "condemned" Jesus for "sorcery"? By "condemned" do you mean
convicted by a Court?
Google thermohaline circulation and what happens when it switches off. Tons of papers on ocean currents causing northern hemisphere glaciation and deglaciation. When heat is circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic, the northern hemisphere deglaciates and the oceans and the atmosphere warms. When heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic gets disrupted the northern hemisphere glaciates and the oceans and the atmosphere cool. Been going on for 3 million years or so.I don't know enough to say you are right or wrong.
that didn't happen---your jelly-bean teacher lied. In fact, your assertionThe Pharisees accused Jesus of sorcery and blaspheme. Pilot convicted him.
Matthew 12:22-24I'm not familiar with Jesus being condemned for sorcery. Can you point to the passages.
And you think I believe in fairytales.I'm sure there will be many galactic copies of USMB by then.
We can know the past but not the future. Arrow of time and all.And you think I believe in fairytales.
Because of Isaiah's prophecies, many Israelites likely associated the time of the Messiah's coming with the healing of the blind, the deaf, the lame, and the mute (Isaiah 35:5).Matthew 12:22-24
There was no Roman law against sorcery or blasphemy so Pilot would not have convicted him for those. The Pharisees accused Jesus of sorcery and blaspheme. Pilot convicted him.
ding disagrees. I wonder with what? I wonder if he was also taughtthat didn't happen---your jelly-bean teacher lied. In fact, your assertion
is utterly nonsensical. Have you ever been in a court? I will help. Someone
has to made an official complaint----sometimes called "the petition" The
case has to be considered by a judge or panel thereof. They actually had
real courts back then and real judges. As to the statement "the pharisees
accused Jesus of sorcery and blasphemy"----such a case would not be the
purview of Pilate. Sorcery and Blasphemy would be the purview of a religious court. Pilate would have had nothing to do with it. The only function Pilate had in relation to "crime" was the crime of SEDITION AGAINST ROME. It is clear to me that nothing has to make any sense at all in Jelly-bean school. For the record----making a claim that "the Pharisees" brought a jew to Pilate to
be judged for 'sorcery and/or blasphemy' crosses the "RED LINE" into psychosis. The pharisees would have better success with Pilate by simply
claiming "this guy is a pharisee"
They think the atmosphere drives the climate of the planet.
...and do not wish to know.Exactly my point, you can't discuss someone you don't know.
Matthew is you independent corroborating source?Matthew 12:22-24
