These families are expected to flood the border from now until September, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement document obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The contract rents out hotels in Texas and Arizona for six and a half months — 199 days. In these hotels, 1,239 beds will be occupied by those participating in the border surge, which the government dubs “emergency family reception sites.” After three days of sleeping in the hotel, migrant families who entered the country illegally will then be freed into the United States with a court date to be determined.

The initiative is part of an approximately $87 million contract ICE awarded to Family Endeavors, a San Antonio, Texas non-profit that has a former senior official on the Biden transition team, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait. No bids were solicited for the contract.

While the hotels carry a price tag of $352 a night for the Biden administration — and thus the American taxpayer — two of the hotels being used in El Paso, Texas can be booked at this present time for a price ranging from $91 to $179.

An ICE spokeswoman told the Examiner the $87 million includes “transportation of the families from the Border Patrol stations that they are initially held at after being apprehended on the border to the hotels, as well as any emergency transportation from the hotel to medical facilities like hospitals and rides to airports or bus stations for families to travel to their final destinations nationwide.” Illegals will have all meals covered, in addition to complementary medical treatment, “recreational activities,” and laundry.

I don't think this is going to help solve the border control problem, if anything it makes it worse because we're sending the wrong message south of the border. And this can't be appealing to US taxpayers either. Plus, how many of these people have been tested for COVID-19? My guess? Zero. By some estimates the infected rate for illegals is around 10%.

Joe Biden is saving the taxpayers money at that price.

Trump was spending $700 per night per person to do the same. This is half that price:

We could give them a bus ticket to Mexico for less than $350, and it'd be a one-time cost.

This is the kind of shit you get every time you elect a Republican President who doesn't prosecute employers. Illegals are flooding across the border BECAUSE Donald Trump stopped prosecuting employers. When Trump took office, illegal border crossings were at their lowest level in 50 years. Not coincidentally, Obama set records in auditing 8000 employers' HR records and obtaining nearly 500 Final Orders against just employers in 2009, versus 1 prosecution of an employers in all 5 years of Trump's administration.

"Highest number of illegal crossings since 2002" isn't a coincidence either. The highest number of prosecutions of employers of illegal immigrants in US history isn't a coincidence occurred from 1992 - 1998, when Clinton was in office.

Republicans don't want their biggest donors prosecuted of hiring illegals at less than minimum wage. If keeps the American workers from demanding real wages and benefits. And when employers are allowed to hang out the "Now Hiring Illegal Immigrants" sign their employees let everyone know back home that there are jobs waiting for them if they can get across the border.

No it doesn't. You need a reading comprehension course.

The article is dated June 25, 2019. Zero Tolerance started in May of 2018. This article says that Trump spent half a billion dollars in just 1 years of his program, compared to the previous child detention program which started under Obama, ran between 2015 and 2018 - a four year period cost a little over $1 billion - that averages out to a little over $250 million per year. Half of what Obama spent.

Obama was only President for two of those years, so basically Trump spent the same amount of money locking up the children more than 100,000 children over a 2 year period, as Trump spent locking up and separating families, and losing track of the children, in one year.

Not to mention the children were better cared for under Obama. Trump killed 7 kids while processing fewer than 40,000 children, while none of the more than 120,000 children processed under the Obama Administration died in custody.

Private-prison firm Geo Group has reportedly already made $500 million from migrant detention centers since Trump's "zero tolerance policy" began, as reported by the Miami New Times. Southwest Key Programs, a nonprofit that set up a boys' shelter in the husk of an old Walmart, reportedly netted $955 million in federal contracts between 2015 and 2018, according to The New York Times. A network of nonprofit groups, BCFS, reportedly received $179 million in the same time period. BCFS is the same contractor that held migrant kids in parked vans for 39 hours earlier this year, as ICE slowly did the paperwork to reunite the children with their families.
You certainly are a glutton for punishment. You keep making these idiot claims and just stepping in it each and every time. You're even too useless to even be a FuckBoi.

2017 was the lowest year in your chart. Before Trump started separating families, and refusing people entry, or building the Wall. THE MOMENT TRUMP STOPPED PROSECUTING THE EMPLOYERS, THE NUMBERS STARTING GOING UP.

The chart in this Article goes back to 2000, and low and behold, 2017 was the lowest number of illegal border crossings in 20 years.
