Remember on election night in 2020 Donald Trump was a massive favorite to win the election. As high as -650.

I can refute your bullshit MAGA data...and I just did below. --

Public opinion polls ahead of the 2020 election were the most inaccurate in a generation, according to Josh Clinton, Abby and Jon Winkelried Chair and professor of political science, who recently served as chair of a special task force convened by the American Association for Public Opinion Research specifically to evaluate polling. The task force found that polling during the two weeks before the election overstated support for then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden by 3.9 percentage points, which was the largest polling error since 1980 when support for Democratic nominee Jimmy Carter was overestimated by 6 percentage points. The presidential election between Biden, the eventual winner, and incumbent president Donald Trump was much closer than polling had indicated. A report detailing the task force’s discoveries and conclusions is here.
But these are the polls you are quoting right now.

So, if you go by just one metric. (The evolution of stock market prices going up.)

Incumbent presidents win... mostly.

Therefore Trump was a massive favorite to win the 2020 election. That's the premise of this OP, right?

I wonder. Do you realize that that's not really a thing?

Is there any position you can't support, by just using a single data point?

Every president who had a major pandemic during his watch lost the election. Woodrow Wilson did with the Spanish Flue. Therefore Trump had no chance to win.

See... easy. If I just fail to mention he had a stroke preventing him from running. I can make a case that Biden couldn't lose by simply focusing on one thing and omitting others.
Was that an exhaust pipe for a furnace is Madrid?

Trump was never a favorite in 2020. In fact, it was surprising that Biden only won by 7 million votes.

Most polls had Biden winning by 7% or 8%, but Biden only won by 4%.

Repeating your MAGA bullshit over and over doesn't make it true.
Biden did not win by 7 million votes. There is no popular vote for President. Read you Constitution, you moron!

Meaning that on election night in November 2020 if you bet $100 on Trump to win the election… you would only profit about $10. That is how extremely far ahead Trump was. And yet we’re supposed to believe that all of a sudden Biden won???? In some cases when they were counting votes late at night, they had tons and tons of votes and Biden got all of them. That makes no logical sense.

Going into the final weeks of the 2020 election researchers were showing us that Trump should have the election locked up,

The research, going back to George Washington, found 16 times in U.S. history when an incumbent president ran for reelection and the stock market was up more than 20% in the preceding three years. In 14 of those 16 times, the incumbent won reelection, giving a success rate of 87%. If the trend holds, Mr. Trump could be No. 15.

Trump recently said he should’ve won California in 2020. And he is on to something. California has long been a very overpriced place to live and now it’s worse than ever under Biden. The cost of living in California is out of control…. in some places in CA it is twice as high compared to what it was under Trump.

Keep this all in mind come November
Nobody remembers that, because it's a shameless lie.

Yeah, he did. It was in all the papers.

Oh yes, the electoral college -- Affirmative action for dumb shit Republicans like Trump and Bush who are incapable of winning the vote of most Americans.
If you had any education, you would know that the electoral college has not been significantly changed since the Constitution was ratified 230 or so years ago. It was designed to prevent Virginia from electing every President then and California now.

As to your previous comment, how do you explain how Hillary lost with more votes than Trump and Bush won with less votes than Gore?

Is there a point buried in here somewhere? What the **** does this have to do with the fact that imbeciles like Trump and Bush can't even get 50% of Americans to vote for them?

I just told you....affirmative action for dumb **** Republican presidential candidates who can't get over 50% of Americans to vote for them.

Still trying for the stolen election nonsense

Christ dude

Ya lost

The point is they do not need to! When Clinton got elected in 1992, no one got anywhere close to a majority of the vote.

I just told you....affirmative action for dumb **** Republican presidential candidates who can't get over 50% of Americans to vote for them.
That's not affirmative action because that is not how they get elected. Why are you such a dumbass? Did you ever take a class in government in high school?

The winner take all system as exists in most States.

How the electoral system works is that it favors winning many states electoral votes which are sparsely populated with smaller margins, over winning single densely populated states with larger margins.

That's why Democrats need to win the popular vote by a margin of 2 to 5 percent to actually win the electoral college. Because Democrats are concentrated in the cities.

In other words. For all the crying about "Democrats cheat", it are the Republicans who have the systemic advantage.
