Should the U.S. Declare War on Russia?

Russia can't lose. China won't let them. And Biden-Harris was the matchmaker that pushed those two together. In the end, China laughs as the US blows a fortune on supplying a country they know can't win, and Russia is blowing money and losing troops in a war they can't win without China. China loves that both Russia and the US are getting weaker because of the conflict. And the deeper we get in with Ukraine, the more Russia hates us. In the end, Russia will be addicted to Chinese aid and will have nowhere else to go, forming the biggest commie war machine ever. And who will be their main rival? A weakened, debt saturated US. China wins when Russia weakens the US and NATO as they do China's dirty work. The US can't win this thing. We're in the dumb zone. Back to MAGA

We did start the war. Obama and Biden crossed Putin's redline. Enlarging the Ukraine naval base in the black sea to accept US warships. Building an advanced communication center at the base. Add to all that the talks of joining NATO which was much more than talks ...

We, the USA started this war

Ignorant idiot, the invasion started with annexation of Crimea in 2014, when Ukraine had scrubbed all NATO efforts and passed a nutrality LAW.

Whoops, there goes your Kremlin sponsored bullshit.

Britain started two world wars on the basis that Germany invaded Belgium and Poland
That's funny. Germany invades it neighboors, but it was the UK who started it!

Had the West supported Czechoslovakia like they're supporting Ukraine, WWII might never have started.

No Russian ever called me a deplorable based on the way I cast my vote.....Just sayin'.
In reality her comment was aimed at the "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it.", element of the Dirty Don's supporters. Not the way anyone had voted. The Trump Party Echo Chamber has groomed the flock to believe the false narrative hasn't it?

Trump keeps flattering Putin, called his invasion of Ukraine...smart.

Thats your idea of strengh? Laughable.

And you rightwingers are going to have to make up your mind about Biden - is he a "warmonger" or "weak"? Trying to have it both ways is not a coherent look.

It was smart -

Biden told Putin that it was okay.

(you have stupid opinions)

It wasn't smart dumbass, it wrecked millions of lives, got hundreds of thousands of prime working age Russians killed or disabled and caused global disruptions.

When are you going to grow up and stop posting ludecrous nonsense?

The 2014 coup, wasn’t a revolution by the people of Ukraine, it was a coup heavily backed and co-opted by the United States and the European Union.

We’re not talking about democracy here; we’re talking about regime change orchestrated to undermine Russia. The overthrow of Yanukovych, a president who sought closer ties with Russia, was replaced by a group of right-wing nationalist extremists. Many of these people worship Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator. Let that sink in. These Ukrainian nationalists, who took over in Kyiv, had a strong anti-Russian agenda from the start, and they were eager to antagonize the Russo-Ukrainians of the Donbas region and Crimea. Well, bad idea, assholes.

Anton the Russian, kulak pansy-boy asserts that Crimea was 'annexed'? Absolutely not. Crimea, historically and culturally Russian, made a clear choice to rejoin the Russian Federation. It wasn’t some underhanded military operation. It was a referendum, something that apparently bothers the West when the outcome doesn’t fit their agenda. The people of Crimea, seeing the Western-backed extremists in Kyiv, knew what was coming for them. The referendum, with an overwhelming majority (96.77%), decided that they wanted to be part of Russia, not Ukraine under the rule of radical, anti-Russian nationalists. That's self-determination, something that the West claims to support but only when it serves their interests.

This is perfectly legal under international law, particularly when you look at cases like Kosovo, where the U.S. and NATO forced the issue of independence without even bothering with a referendum. Hypocrisy much? Anton is constantly telling us that here in the West, particularly in the US, we have a "liberal democracy", he couldn't be more confused and out of touch with reality.

As Richard Sakwa points out in Frontline Ukraine, the West's meddling in Ukraine exacerbated tensions to the point where the legitimacy of the post-coup government was rejected by significant portions of Ukraine’s population, especially in regions like Crimea (No More War - Dan Koval…). Crimea's vote was a response to this instability, and to suggest that Russia "annexed" Crimea is to deny the agency of the Crimean people. Ukraine isn't inhabited by one ethnic group or culture, but it's a "borderland", with several different ethnic and cultural groups, and not all of them lean towards the West. Sorry, Anton, not everyone in Ukraine hates Putin or the Russian government as you do.

And about the U.S. and its 'rule-based order'? The U.S. violates international law routinely. Let’s not forget the illegal invasion of Iraq, the ongoing American occupation of parts of Syria, and their war crimes in Yemen, supported by their good friends in Saudi Arabia. Dan Kovalik reminds us in No More War that the U.S. is the biggest violator of international law today, with military interventions in over 70 countries and 700+ military installations around the world. The U.S. ruling elites, the government of our beloved United States, have no moral high ground when it comes to Crimea or Ukraine.

GAZA = ARMING THE GENOCIDAL, RACIST ZIONIST STATE OF ISRAHELL

That should be the end of the discussion right there about the US Federal Government and its hypocrisy. Supporting a genocidal, racist regime like Israel.

Crimea didn’t need to be 'annexed.' It chose Russia over a corrupt, foreign-imposed regime. That’s the truth you refuse to see Anton, the kulak pansy-boy who hates Putin because he doesn't allow homosexuals to adopt children (Anton the champion of "liberal democracy"/"woke" trash values). Sorry Anton, you and your imperialist lovers of "liberal democrazy and freakdom", aren't going to have your way with Russia. Poke the bear, you lose your hand, look at Ukraine. Not a good outcome for poking the bear.

Booohoooo Anton. Booohoooooo....

C'mon, all you NeoCons/Progressives/Chicken Hawks: Why shouldn't the U.S. declare war on Russia? Isn't it the 21st Century equivalent of Nazi Germany beating up on neighboring states? Britain started two world wars on the basis that Germany invaded Belgium and Poland, so why shouldn't do the same for Ukraine?

Are we really in it to win it at all costs, or are we playing dangerous games for domestic political consumption? Let's hear it from all you war mongers as to why we must defeat Russia! Or are you planning to bail out before things become radioactive? Rah, rah, rah!
You cannot defeat a country with that many nuclear weapons.

I would love to play poker with you.

ESay, as a Ukranian who presumably was in Ukrane at the time and familiar with the event, can you explain some reality to this useful idiot?

Coup was for and by Ukranians. Yes US supports pro-democratic movements, but the support here was mostly symbolic.
