what kind of a job would the cast of "the west wing" do running the country. with only slightly more experience, president obama and staff have done a lot of the same things that were written into the show. the way republicans are portrayed, is comical. it is sometimes amazing how closely the show is like real life. so the question is "would the cast of the show do better or worse than what we have now".

people who visit the west wing say that it's very quiet, people speak in hushed tones. not scurrying about with the halls always full of people charging right ahead with their busy agendas of how to piss off the t-reps and the one republican from vermont (me). i'd like to see john goodman as the real speaker of the house, stockard channing as michelle... this isn't so crazy
the actual people.. the actors playing the part... eg richard schiff would be a great communications guy... martain sheen as president... etc the woman who played mrs landingham (older mrs l.) rob lowe... jannel ... you know
