Where we differ is that Christians, recognizing that we are not perfect, require someone else to absolve us of our sins.

Jesus taught "Sins are forgiven." Note the present tense. He was saying are before he was put to death. Some who lived at the same time insisted he had no authority to teach this. They so vehemently disagreed with him they plotted against him.

It’s antithetical to the very tenet of Judaism. That is why the Jews-for-Jesus movement has always been a failure.

But Jews have no problem with people who believe as you do - that Jesus was the son of Gd. It matters not what you believe as far as getting to Heaven: actions are what matter.

So, do as Jesus and Hillel before him taught, and you will see your place in The World to Come. From my interactions with you, I believe you do indeed have a share.
