The truth about socialism

Socialism requires the abolishing of the family.
That’s what was behind the antisemitic BLM movement. They’ve wiped clean their original charter, but it was all about destroying the nuclear family, with lots of anti-Israel goals thrown in for good measure.

The decision to hide a Marxist movement behind a movement to combat the (untrue) bias of police against blacks was deliberate. This way, anytime someone objected to the BLM lies, they would try to silence it by screaming “waaaaacist!!”

Same reason they wanted a “black,” Muslim-favoring president.

Sadly I doubt the lemmings do.
Well, that’s true. The antisemitic Commies at the helm know the plan, but the idiotic leftist voters do not. They’re actually going to vote for the Arab-funded Islamic communist who refuses to condemn the calls for violence against Jews.

In America it is controlled the best control is the free market
No it is not

The free market can be abused.
Big business driving our smaller competitors
Producing unsafe products
Abuse of workers
Environmental abuses
Collusion to control prices

Why we need Government oversight

You want Trump "overseeing" you?

They can pool their money, get loans, etc. just like anyone else who wants to start a business. What stops them is that they really dont want to assume the risk associated with "owning the means of production". They want the rewards of taking that risk without the corresponding responsibility associated with it.

Lord knows Government power can never be abused.....

Most workers do not have that level of disposable income
They have to waste money on rent, food, healthcare

Norway and Sweden are capitalist. Socialism is based on a lie. The state owns the means of production not the people.

Norway and Sweden have a mixture.

They have a lot of businesses that are just capitalist, but then a lot of stuff is run by the government.

But the point of my post is that you are not being honest about things. Socialism isn't a lie, the people claiming to be "Socialist countries" are the lie. Socialism is just a form of government where the govt runs all or most of the businesses.

China is, for example, becoming more Socialist, 40% of businesses in China are run by the Chinese govt. Some of the largest steel makers in the world are run by provinces of China.

But your "the state owns the means of production not the people", if the money from these businesses goes to the people, then it is Socialist, and in China they do use some of this money to run their cities.

Why we have a vote
We don’t get a vote on Corporate power
Sure you do. And everyone can vote all the time. Don't purchase their shit. If I vote for a Senator and he goes 180 degrees from what I wanted I have to wait 6 years to correct that mistake. We are also trapped in a 2 party system where our choices are severely limited. The chances of a non D/R candidate being elected are slim. The chances of not the D/R being in control of the government are zero. The actual differences between the D's and R's is minuscule on most substantive issues that affect our daily lives. Neither your's or my life has been substantially different because Clinton/Bush/Obama/Trump/Biden/Trump we’re in office vs the other guy.

And the impoverished Jews who came into NYC between 1880-1924 had no disposable income either. Even harder, they had no food stamps, no rent subsidies, and no Medicaid.

Still, they were able to band together and form little butcher shops, produce stands, scaled down grocery stores, tailor shops, and so forth.

So if Jews could do it, what’s holding back today’s poor?

Weak tea. We don't have to deal with corporations. Unless government passes fucked up laws forcing us to, like ACA.

15th post
The same double talking hypocrites in this thread claiming to be great free-market capitalists will be in another thread later screaming for economic intervention at the barrel of a government gun to cut interest rates.

Of course, central economic planning by a central bank and economic intervention can hardly be considered free-market capitalism.

To hell with the market deciding these things, they say. Heh heh heh...

What I see are a lot of big-gvernment statists who place forth a lot of effort to portray some illusion of difference between themselves when there really is none at all.

Are you saying Capitalism doesn’t oppress people?
The Specious Spectrum

They have always been merely RichKid Reich power-grabs. Ideology is a spitball fight at a prep school. Two dormitory wings with the same goal, but different methods for excluding those not born in the 1%.

Most of the time, they work together. Government restrictions on development of resources create artificial scarcities that increase profit margins for the corporate- oligarchy partner.
