The state owns and controls all aspects of production not the people. The people own nothing. They cant vote its not a democracy and have no power at all. Everyone cant own the means of production thats impossible in a socialist model.

The result is oppression, poverty, no social mobility, 2 class society the rich and the poor, shortages of everything, low quality, and zero innovation. Look at Cub Russia North Korea, Venezuela as examples.

The onky way a worker can own equity in a company i in America by buying stock. Many American companies are owned by their workers. You can own stock in any company and share the profits.

Yes and North Korea is the "People's Republic of North Korea" but North Korea isn't a "Republic" either". Russia now calls itself a "democracy" but it's not.
