My position is that not stocking a copy of a book in a school library is not equivalent to banning that book because people can obtain copies of those books in various other ways.

Well, to my knowledge, we are not the Euro-Fascist states YET. There are no banned books in the USA to my knowledge. Books are readily available on the internet in the US via digital libraries and shared libraries.

The only types of books in the US a that are actually illegal to own and therefore banned are books containing child pornography. And anyone who whines about those being banned should be in prison anyway.
