You may have seen the claim that Uvalde is the 27th (!) school shooting this year. This is misleading. The other 26 were mostly incidents in parking lots or at sports games where one or zero people were shot. Still bad! But not *mass* casualty events.

If everyone had the Right to drive whatever they want, as fast as they want, on any side of the road as they want, casualties would be off the scale.

Same with the 2A, hence the high gun shootings and deaths. The pro 2A's always cite dubious claims from pamphlets and dodgy sites. They like to twist figures and get really excited if another country has an incident.

The American forefathers did a disservice to the US population by signing the 2A into the constitution.
