The SAVE America Act is dead

I disagree.
Don't you realize that if you give "opportunists the ability to grant themselves unchecked power" while your side is in power, that's power the "other" side will use against you. It goes both ways. The two parties thrash back and forth, struggling for dominance, and the government just gains more and more power. Heads they win, tails we lose.

Then either revolt or kill yourself.

You offer no solutions, just complaining.

Spooner was just in tune with the fact that no matter how noble one's intentions may or how perfect they may create something, that mankind corrupts everything it touches the moment it comes into existence.

However, James Madison, the "The Father of the Constitution" knew that and also said, "If men were angels, no government would be necessary."
Madison, a man who should have known better. He dreamed up a centralized power to replace a decentralized power that the revolution was fought to create.

When you don't offer any actual solutions and just ***** about things, those are the ones I recommend to you.
That's always your copout answer. If I don't give you a "solution", you're going to keep on keeping on with the idiocy.

Anyway, I've actually offered lots and lots of solutions. Do a search. Or persist with the copout.

No, you've offered crazy theoretical ideas that simply won't work in real life.

They did try to limit the government, and the Federalist Papers explained some of the difficulties they had with that.
They argued extensively over certain concerns, and some barely made it into the finished product.

However, it would be careless to assume James Madison was not aware of what he was doing and the consequences thereof, but rather he was not going to allow that to become an excuse to do nothing.

For instance, a free person does not need to be told they are free and merely exercises their liberties at their own will.

But the status quo GOPers are the bestest.
In this era, there are democrats and GOPers that act like democrats and they are all traitors.

RINOs are worse then democrats because they lie about what they believe.

Republicans represent the interest of Americans

Democrats represent the interest of the world in America.

If justice isn't served and soon, America is over.

Democrats/RINOs = traitors ;)

Fixed it for you:

Democrats/RINOs = traitors ;)

The "motor voter” law required that states accept the Federal form which does not require proof of citizenship. If I recall correctly, that has changed recently, either through a change to the statute or the USSC's interpretation.

Good Observation:

That has become a state matter because Motor-Voter does require accepting the Federal Form.
However, it does not make the Federal Form exclusive to any other requirements the state may approve.

There are currently 7 states that prohibit non-citizens from voting, 5 states that have pending ballot measures prohibiting non-citizens, 2 states with pending ballot measures allowing non-citizen, and 3 states that currently allow non-citizens to vote.

You would not be surprised in regard to which states fall in either direction.

Currently states can add ballot measures in their own legislatures that will either allow or disallow non-citizens to vote.
Some states (such as mine) wrote legislation that does not allow non-citizens to register to vote, so there is no need to clarify if it is specific to local, state or federal elections.

All states prohibit non citizens from voting.

Oh, I get it and I understand.
Just saying that if things actually get that messed up, I won't mind going on with being a pioneer elsewhere.

There are still places in this world where you can control your destiny if you are willing to put forth the effort.
I know of a few, not that hard to get to, and some things require more vision and a little risk to get somewhere new but that is still worth getting to without sacrificing everything in the process.

Some people wait for all their opportunities to be delivered, and as you mentioned end up with what they asked for, while others explore trying to find them, and it is as simple as that.
That's why we moved to rural Maine....besides it being the most beautiful place we ever visited or lived....we have more deer friends, than neighbors! ;)

Oh, I live in the woods now and have neighbors that live far enough away that they can still be fun, but are nowhere near my house. Plenty of deer, as well a plethora of rather unpleasant critters at times.

But I don't know, and there may not be any escaping what a lot of folks seem dead set on making us deal with. As a Classical Liberal, I think people need to do the most they can with what they have where they are. I think the People need to seize some of our power back in the states, limit the power we allow the federal government and stop kicking the can to the Ruling Class on Capitol Hill.

However, that requires a good bit of personal responsibility, taking that responsibility is what allows more freedom, and that is just not that popular with people nowadays.

Well Sparky, I wish I could help you, but I don't live in your state.
be glad you do not Bitter one
If I am correct, you are retired firefighter, will your pension travel?
There could be more concerns like family, land, maybe you just really like it there, or whatever.
semi-retired emt/FF , 3 decades in, no pension, not looking for a thank you

and I built a farm, a homestead if you will , in a state full of Marxists that want to take it away from me

they keep telling us we 'can't wipe our own ass' w/out H1B/H2B......but let's be real and view it as the prostitution of labor ........and now allegiance for a vote.......

and so we can go down the road of 'self made men'........which i refuse to do, even though i could rub so many noses in it......

otoh, why subscribe to dependency, unless you can admit you can't stand on your own two feet in this life?
