It has been said, Man is a mystery to himself until he sees himself through Christ.

For those who have no interest/wish to be Christian, this can be phrased as, "Man is a mystery to himself until he sees himself through the Word of God.

Try taking a look at yourself through this lens. Can you perceive yourself differently?

.

I definitely see myself as a better person since becoming a Catholic Christian.

.

I thinks about Jesus and God, two different males, two good powers.

One by males undervalue sport will.

Jesus is God's envoy?

Jesus is God's envoy?
God the Father = Creator
the Son (Jesus) = the Word of God
the Holy Spirit = Love, wisdom, understanding that flows between Creator and Word

The total of the above is one Being, one God.

Humans are made up of body, mind, and spirit = one person.

there will never be a messiah made in the heavens for any reason much less for a specific clan for their own embellishment ... as well the christians claim there would be any relationship pertaining to either judaism or christianity in particular does not exist for the same reason.

jesus repudiated judaism for the very reason a singular group has no special consideration from the heavens and for them to see themselves requires to examine their own personal self determination to triumph in purity as the heavenly goal for all who attempt admission to the everlasting.

there is no heavenly religion than ones own determination for their celestial destiny.

I don't understand this statement. I think I know myself very well. :confused-84:
Eh..come on, if you would view (check) yourself via the Word of God - you would find out that only a hypocrite would vote and support a TACO. aka YOU act against the word of God.

That is if you actually belief in God and all that nonsense.

Yeah, I'm not a genocidal maniac, I don't want to kill all people except for a few.

I think I'm better of without trying to be like that.

Trolling in a religious discussion board is pretty low brow, even for a foreign troll. Run along now.
Since when is "reminding people about Christian values and adhering to Gods commands" - trolling??

Surely only to those who live in defiance of Gods commands.

So do your belief in the Christian God?
Do you live according to the Christians Gods commands?

This verse from Jeremiah has always caught my attention: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

While I tend to skim pass the "and desperately wicked" part, I do notice our tendency to become the hero of our own story, usually by editing out some parts while adding highlights to others. Does anyone really see us as we see ourselves? Do we see others as others see themselves. You may have noticed that I have this tendency to ponder over odd things. ;)

How tender are you towards others? I ask because I often work with middle school students. They can be the hardest students to work with, while at the same time bruise so easily.

Upon seeing myself through the Word of God and through the "lens" of Jesus Christ, I realized what an unrighteous, undeserving sinner I really am. All the way down to the very marrow of my bones. My righteousness if but filthy rags before our perfect God. I'm a fallen man and can only be saved through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I did not earn salvation. It was a gift, freely given by my Kinsman Redeemer and Savior.

Judgment? Or, are you imagining Jesus' judgment of the President. If so, do you argue that Jesus will be just as stern a judge of everyone?

While I haven't ever agreed with that interpretation of righteousness being nothing but filthy rags, how often I must take myself to task for thinking, "I wasn't that bad" when clearly I was. It isn't the few times I have been righteous that God sees as filthy rags. What he sees as filthy rags is that assessment of, "I wasn't that bad." Better to face the music.

Isaiah 64:6, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Typical of an empty leftist: no respect for other views.
You'd love to run a gulag that rounds up Christians, wouldn't you?
Leave this thread to people who care.

According to the NT Johannes 5,22 - God handed over judgement to Jesus - over the living and the dead.
And as such EVERYONE incl TACO and Marathon Mike. - the "ungodly". ;)

BTW - if you remember I am an Atheist - but respect those believers that act according to what their faith demands.
