***THE (RAID) was, UNCONSTITUTIONAL***

Sorry bout that,

1. You can only attack others if they are not a certain group.
2. Some groups its just fine go ahead attack them, while others are not allowed.

Why should a lawyer find it disturbing that if there's probable cause I helped a client commit a crime the cops could get a search warrant for my documents referencing work for that client? The rules of legal ethics are clear that lawyers must steer clear of clients breaking the law, and even quit working for them if it's impossible to avoid being involved in a crime.

One of your primary problems is your lack of ability to see both sides.

You are so left indoctrinated that you are easily manipulated to believe everything one side does is evil and corrupt while the other completely innocent and righteous.

When the day comes (if it ever does), that you see that BOTH sides are FOS and serving a cause that does not benefit you, you will see things more clearly.

And your statement is laughable......ever heard of DEFENSE Lawyers? They WORK for criminals all the time. It's their job.
uh, yeah, I've heard of defense lawyers. LOL

uh, yeah, I've heard of defense lawyers. LOL

ok. Then try to see both sides.

Don't hate Mr. Trump because you are told to. Find the truth for yourself. Don't be a lemming just following the herd.

The raid on Trump's lawyers office is NOT a common type occurrence.
It was a bad move....but exponentially so considering it was the Presidents Lawyer. How would you have reacted if a Special Counsel investigator had raided Obamas Lawyers office? Cohen was already cooperating with the investigation. What they did was self serving and should alarm ALL Lawyers.
Follow the news for the next few weeks and this will become apparent.

LOL, you poor Trumpbot. If there was probable cause showing Cohen may have violated campaign finance or banking laws, the search warrant was constitutional. And Trump was an idiot for trying to hide the payments.

IF....IF....IF.....

IF every lawyers office could get raided like this on those IF's....we wouldn't need lawyers now would we?

It's sad to see how eager some people are to embrace an Authoritarian State.

for fucks sake, you condescending prick.

at least try to get the term right. it is counsel not council.

That article misquotes Dershowitz. There is no way he said that the raid violated Cohen's constitutional rights. He would know better than to say that. Cohen (the lawyer) is not protected. The client is protected.

Your use of the word "raid" is nothing more IMO than an echo of propaganda, used to influence the biddable that a warrant issued, fully and completely under the law established in the 4th Amendment, is a "bad move".

Why is that? Do you subscribe to some conspiracy theory that the FBI conspired to "get" Trump? If so, make the case.

This morning on CNN, Dershowitz said that what he is saying, is that if the search was necessary, then the procedures to protect the lawyer and client privilege should be stronger.... he was arguing this morning, that having a separate team apart from the investigative team still allows these disinterested parties to read everything, and Alan thinks it should be a judge that goes through and picks out what the search is searching for.....

Sorry bout that,

1. Harvard, LAW PROFESSOR, exclaim the raid of Cohens office to acquire info about whatever is against his American Constitutional Rights!
2. Alan Dershowitz, comes out with statement read all about it, like I said what Mueller just did should get him jail time, there is no excuse.
3. READ IT HERE:Mueller-violated-Michael-Cohens-constitutional-rights-just-seizing-records-says-Dershowitz.html

Yeah, it's against the constitution for the US govt to gain a warrant to search for illegal activity.

You heard it here first guys.
What was the illegal activity?

it's on the warrant, we do not know precisely, but Cohen and his lawyers know and they can tell us, if they want to....

If I were to guess, there could be a couple of probable causes..... one, illegal campaign finance donation by Cohen, or two, bank fraud because cohen lied to the bank as to the reason for a mortgage on his house to pay the porn star off.... if he lied on his home equity loan.... giving a lie like it was to remodel his home, but it was to pay her hush money....then that is fraud, according to the law.

The idea that Stormy was paid for her vote for Trump is knuckleheadism to the nth degree
The idea that paying her to be quiet about a tryst from over a decade ago
is campaign related is knuckleheadism to the nth degree.
The idea that he paid her to be quiet is legally just fine despite the faked moral outrage from Libbies

If a lawyer and a client get together to perpetrate a fraud, the attorney-client privilege is null and void.

I'm so sorry.

The emails, documents, and texts between Cohen and Trump which are now in the hands of law enforcement will tell the story.

I agree in part with this statement. They followed the proper procedure. My question is SHOULD they have done this?

We're talking about the intrusion into one of the most important protections we have. If a client is worried that his confidential communications with his lawyer will be seized and reviewed to find evidence of a past crime, no client will be candid with his lawyer. The chilling effect on attorney-client communications in preparation of litigation or a criminal defense will be marked.

Why is that? Do you subscribe to some conspiracy theory that the FBI conspired to "get" Trump? If so, make the case.
Well, there were those two FBI lovers who texted each other back and forth conspiring to do that very thing. Don't you remember?

Lawyers go to jail all the time. In fact, Mueller just jailed one.

Sorry bout that,

1. This Nation is headed to the drain, Mueller is about to flush the constitution and many here seem to only think of political affiliates, your country is swirling down the drain dumb asses.
2. Trump sees it, I see it, not many else see it.
3. The sacred trust of the fourth amendment is just about torn out of the constitution.
4. Only an idiot can't see this fact.
